Educational punishment is an indispensable means of education.Educational punishment is conducive to children’s formation of correct values and a sense of responsibility;it promotes education fairness and maintains the authority of discipline.However,in the current educational practice in our country,some educators have the mentality and behavior of not daring to punish and excessive punish.This article takes Z Primary School in Anqing City as a case,through close observation,in-depth interviews,Daily communication,etc.,as well as my own five-year work experience,obtain first-hand information on the current situation of primary school teachers’ implementation of educational punishment,analyze the reasons for the complexity of the current situation,and propose corresponding countermeasures for the reasons.The thesis is divided into five parts(four chapters).The first part is the foreword,mainly from five aspects: the reason for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the literature review,the definition of core concepts and the research method.The second part of the thesis shows the current situation of primary school teachers’ implementation of educational punishment by describing the current situation of Z school teachers’ daily teaching,office life and the author’s own educational narrative.The third part of the thesis analyzes the reasons for the complexity of the current situation of primary school teachers’ implementation of educational discipline from two aspects: the lack of primary school teachers’ educational discipline ability and the poor external environment for teachers to implement educational discipline behavior.Based on the analysis of the reasons,the fourth part of the thesis proposes two countermeasures for primary school teachers to effectively implement educational discipline:teachers establish a correct view of educational discipline,improve the ability and effect of educational discipline,and create an environment that supports teachers in implementing educational discipline.Finally,in the concluding remarks,based on the current policy background,the expectation for the implementation of educational discipline for primary school teachers is expressed.
