| As an important means of educational management,education punishment plays an important role in educational practice.Because of the lack of policies and regulations for education punishment for a long time,the concept and boundary of education punishment have been lacking clear definition.The implementation of education punishment has been controversial.However,the reality of education tells us that education punishment is a necessary and reasonable means of education management,and education withoutpunishmentisnotacompleteeducation.As the most important "guide" and "companion" in the development of children,teachers and parents’ cognition of education punishment is the key factor to determine whether the education punishment can be implemented smoothly.This paper aims to investigate the current situation of teachers and parents’ cognition of educational punishment.The paper compares the differences and differences between teachers and parents in their cognition from three aspects: the necessity of education punishment,the boundary of education punishment and the procedureof education punishment.Then,the authorexplores thereasons for thecognitivedifferencesbetweenteachersandparentsandputsforwardstrategies.Through investigation,it is found that there are great differences between teachers and parents in their cognition of educational punishment,among which the main problems are: teachers and parents have different judgments on the value of education punishment;the distinction between the boundary of education punishment is ambiguous;and the procedure of education punishment is not operated properly.Through investigation and interview and reading relevant documents,the author thinks that the main factors that cause the difference of teachers and parents’ cognition of education punishment are: different requirements of social roles of teachers and parents;different educational concepts;non specific laws and regulations;and the influence of public opinion.In this regard,the author proposes the following countermeasures: to improve laws and regulations,to ensure the legitimacy and standardization of education punishment;to strengthen the construction of school system,to ensure the rationality and fairness of education punishment;to carry out teacher training to improve teachers’ disciplinary awareness and ability;to do a good job in disciplinary action Preach and change the parents’ disciplinary concept.It is hoped that this study can provide inspiration for promoting the cognition of teachers and parents to the education punishment. |
