Research On Family Support Policy Of Intergenerational Care Under The New Birth Policy

Intergenerational care has always been a typical social phenomenon in China.Grandparents,as the main force of intergenerational care,not only provide life care for their grandchildren,but also provide them with strong emotional and economic support,played a crucial role in the development of their grandchildren.In 2016,China began to implement the "comprehensive two-child" policy,the fertility policy has not achieved the expected results,social care and child care support is inadequate,family care is an important reason for the lack of power,in the short-term shortage of social childcare resources,it is an important way to relieve the pressure of childcare by encouraging families to take care of each other.However,this bodes well for the more demanding care tasks that grandparents will have to undertake.Therefore,an in-depth study of the family support policy for intergenerational care under the new fertility policy is aimed at helping grandparents reduce the burden of intergenerational care and stimulating intergenerational care in families.This paper focuses on the absence of intergenerational care family support policy under the new birth policy.Based on the theories of role stress,active aging and demand hierarchy,this paper makes an in-depth study from three dimensions by using qualitative and quantitative methods.This paper first discusses the new challenges faced by the family skip-generation care under the new birth policy,and reveals the special requirements of skip-generation care under the new birth policy,the main pressure of the grandparents,and the difficulties and necessity of the policy support,secondly,by using questionnaire survey and statistical analysis,this paper makes an empirical analysis on the family support policy of Intergenerational Care: Analyzing the willingness of family to intergenerational care under the new birth policy,in view of the need of the family to take care of the next generation,this paper makes the theoretical hypothesis of the family support policy from five dimensions,proves the rationality of the theoretical hypothesis,and constructs the evaluation index of the family support policy,to analyze the guiding effect of family support policy on the willingness of intergenerational care.Finally,the paper discusses the realization path of the family support policy of intergenerational care,and puts forward the practice path of the family support policy of encouraging intergenerational care by using the experience of foreign countries for reference.The results show that the family intergenerational care has a significant effect on the birth incentive,the grandparents’ participation in the intergenerational care has encountered many difficulties under the new birth policy,and the grandparents’ willingness to participate in the intergenerational care is low under the new birth policy,the expectation of family support policy is high,among which the economic support is the first,and the family support policy has a significant positive effect on the care intention of the next generation,which is ranked according to its weight,health Services,financial support,legal support,childcare and health care,and public facilities are in order,while family support policies for intergenerational care should be implemented to avoid resistance from government departments.
