Labor education is not only an important part of the education system,but also the only way to promote the overall and healthy growth of students.In 2020,the CPC Central Committee,The State Council and the Ministry of Education successively issued Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era and Guidelines for Labor Education in Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial),which made top-level design and relevant provisions for strengthening labor education in primary and secondary schools in the new era from the policy level.Labor education plays an important role in the formation and development of primary school students’ labor concepts,labor habits and labor ability.However,there are many problems and puzzles in the implementation of labor education in primary schools.This study studied the implementation and development of labor education in 20 primary schools in 5 urban districts of C.This paper mainly discusses the following problems: how to implement labor education in primary schools;What problems and puzzles exist in the implementation process;What are the causes of the existing problems;What are the strategies to solve the implementation problems.In order to understand the current implementation of primary school labor education,to explore whether existing problems and what are reasons of the problems,and to find the strategies to solve the problems,this study first comb the research on labor education and primary labor education present situation from two aspects: theory and practice,summarizes the achievements,discovery is insufficient,so as to provide basis and direction for the research.Secondly,the questionnaire and interview methods were used to carry out an empirical investigation on the implementation status of primary school labor education in C.On this basis,problems and puzzles were identified from three aspects: ideological understanding,labor education curriculum and support conditions,and the formation reasons were deeply analyzed.Finally,combined with the research results and the actual situation of the school,the study put forward feasible suggestions for the future development of school labor education.Empirical research shows that the current development and implementation of labor education in primary schools are unsatisfactory,mainly manifested in educators are confused about the implementation of labor education,the school labor education curriculum has not been fully implemented,labor education implementation support is not in place.Therefore,this study puts forward the following suggestions from four aspects: labor education curriculum,labor education practice activities,condition construction and implementation approaches.In terms of curriculum construction,set up labor class independently,set reasonable curriculum objectives,enrich and expand curriculum content,understand teaching links deeply,and construct reasonable curriculum evaluation.In the aspect of labor education practice,carry out various labor activities,attach importance to the connection of the content of labor practice in each school section,and integrate the practicality and education of labor activities.In terms of the construction of labor education conditions,attach importance to the construction of teaching staff and actively expand the work practice sites inside and outside the school.In the aspect of implementation approaches,labor education should be organically permeated in discipline teaching and labor education elements should be embodied in campus culture construction.
