Labor education is an important content of primary education,and one of the "five education" of morality,intelligence,physical education,beauty and labor.General Secretary Xi Jinping has emphasized and discussed the role and significance of labor education in the growth of students for many times.Labor is one of the effective ways to cultivate people through virtue.In order to fully implement the party and state education policy,the Ministry of Education has taken major measures to incorporate labor education into the primary school curriculum system,set specific goals,tasks and measures for the implementation of labor education in primary schools,and promoted the development of labor education in primary schools.But the current situation of primary school labor education is not optimistic,there is a trend of marginalization.The majority of primary school students do not have a good sense of labor and labor habits,more reluctant to engage in labor,lack of active labor enthusiasm and good labor habits.Many parents and teachers often pay too much attention to students’ academic performance in cultural classes,and labor education is not so important in their consciousness,so they do not take the initiative to help pupils develop good labor habits.The setting of labor courses in the curriculum system is just to cope with the inspection,and labor classes are often occupied by other disciplines,resulting in no real implementation of labor education courses.In order to strengthen the primary school labor education,improve the primary school students’ labor literacy,promote the overall development of morality,intelligence,body,beauty and labor,develop good ideological and moral quality in the work,establish virtue and cultivate people,this topic is specially selected to carry out research.On the basis of carefully sorting out the domestic and foreign primary school labor education related research,this study takes five primary schools in Shouguang City,Shandong Province as the research object,carries on the in-depth investigation,researches the implementation of primary school labor education curriculum,finds the problems,analyzes the causes and seeks the countermeasures.According to the questionnaire and interview of teachers,students and parents,the present situation of Shouguang primary schools labor education curriculum,mainly includes the cognition of labor education and labor education courses,teachers,curriculum resources,classroom teaching,teaching effect,etc.The main problems are the development situation is not ideal and labor education teachers are insufficient,insufficient resources,classroom teaching efficiency is not high,The main reasons are: lack of understanding of labor education and its curriculum,influence of teachers’ existing values,lack of labor education curriculum resources,imperfect evaluation of labor education curriculum and so on.So this study puts forward targeted solutions according to the problems,mainly including: firmly establish the concept of labor,implement all links,improve the labor curriculum teachers,broaden the labor curriculum resources,increase the interaction between teachers and students,and improve the evaluation system.
