Primary and middle school students are the main force of future social construction.Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education’s recent documents on labor education,primary schools in various regions have developed different labor education courses so that each student can gain labor experience and improve labor skills in the courses.Cultivate students’ labor ability.This thesis investigates the labor education courses in N Primary School in Guangzhou City as a case study.Based on the theoretical basis of Dewey’s experience course,combined with the actual situation of labor education in schools to analyze,from the five aspects of students’ curriculum needs,students’ interest in labor participation,teachers’ labor course arrangement,and achievement evaluation,the literature research method and investigation research method are used to conduct research.After investigation,it is found that there are still three typical problems,that is,the school’s lack of refinement of the teacher’s incentive mechanism policy leads to deviations in ideas,and the implementation of labor curriculum arrangements at the school level and the system of after-school labor education courses need to be supplemented in a timely manner.and perfect.The second is that the curriculum is insufficiently organized and the development content is relatively lacking,which can not meet the needs of students,which affects the effect of course development.The third is that the introduction of professional courses and teachers is less,and the opinions of students are not listened to.There are three reasons for targeted lesson preparation for labor education.Combining with Dewey’s experiential learning theory,the suggestions put forward include improving the policy implementation system,enhancing students’ labor awareness,and encouraging students to participate in labor with their peers;encouraging teachers to refine the content of labor courses and improving the level of courses;it is recommended to introduce professional education teams in various aspects,Integrate the curriculum experience with the practical role of labor in schools;improve the relevant labor evaluation system and system,and evaluate the results of labor education from multiple dimensions.
