| As the deep foundation and spiritual root of the Chinese nation,culture is the source of strength for university students in the new era to strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Revolutionary culture,as an important part of Chinese culture,is an important support and unique identity of Chinese culture,and is an important nourishment to guide university students to build the foundation of faith,replenish the calcium of spirit and hold the rudder of thought,and is a source of power for university students to firmly establish cultural confidence.General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed the need to continue the red gene,inherit fine traditions,promote cultural identity and firm cultural self-confidence.Increasing university students’ identification with revolutionary culture is a prerequisite and foundation for passing on the red bloodline,unlocking the spiritual code and strengthening university students’ revolutionary cultural confidence.Therefore,the question of why and how to cultivate the revolutionary cultural identity of university students in the new era has become an urgent and practical issue to be solved.Based on theoretical and practical research,this paper discusses the concepts,theoretical foundations,value connotations,relevant elements,generation logic,cultivation status and cultivation paths of revolutionary cultural identity among university students.The introduction discusses the research background,significance,overview,methodology and possible innovations of revolutionary cultural identity among university students in the new era.Taking this as the starting point,the concepts of revolutionary cultural identity are sorted out,and the basic connotations of "revolutionary culture","cultural identity" and "revolutionary cultural identity" are defined.At the same time,on the premise of discerning the relationship between revolutionary culture and excellent Chinese culture,and between cultural identity and cultural self-confidence,the value connotation of cultivating revolutionary cultural identity among university students is explored,which is conducive to enhancing their cultural self-confidence,strengthening their faith and belief,and establishing their sense of responsibility.Theoretical guidance is provided by Marxist cultural theory,theories of ideological and political education disciplines,the revolutionary cultural ideology of the Communist Party of China,theories of cultural identity and theories of cognitive psychology,which provide the theoretical basis and knowledge for the study of students’ revolutionary cultural identity.On this basis,we analyse the elements involved in the revolutionary cultural identity of university students,such as the university student subject,the revolutionary cultural object,the method mediator and the influence ring,and then elaborate the internal logic of the generation of the revolutionary cultural identity of university students in four aspects: cognitive identity,emotional identity,value identity and behavioural identity.This paper conducts a survey on some university students by randomly distributing questionnaires,and uses the actual survey data as the base for analysis to examine the current situation of university students’ cognitive identity,emotional identity,value identity and behavioral identity with revolutionary culture in the new era.The results of the study show that the university students’ identification with revolutionary culture is generally optimistic and shows a good trend on the whole.They have a certain knowledge of revolutionary culture,a sense of pride in revolutionary culture and the achievements of the Party’s revolutionary history,recognize the social value of revolutionary culture inheritance and development,and participate in revolutionary culture-themed activities in their daily life.However,in-depth analysis also reveals some problems,namely,the cognitive identity of revolutionary culture among university students is not comprehensive,the emotional identity is not stable,the value identity is not deep,and the behavioural identity is not active.The reasons for this are closely related to the single channel of cultural cognition among university students,the influence of historical nihilism,the change of individual growth environment and the lack of contemporary innovation in the form of activities.Based on the real-life problems found in the study and the analysis of attribution,combined with the theoretical basis and knowledge borrowed from the previous study,the basic principles of revolutionary cultural identity cultivation among university students are proposed:revolutionary cultural identity cultivation is combined with values education,revolutionary cultural identity cultivation is combined with Party history education,theoretical education is combined with practical education,and systematic education is combined with special education.The specific paths for cultivating the revolutionary cultural identity of college students are discussed: strengthening the education of revolutionary cultural knowledge of college students to enhance cognitive identity;deepening the nurturing function of revolutionary culture to stimulate emotional identity;optimizing the realistic environment of revolutionary cultural identity of college students to cultivate value identity;transforming the methods and modes of cultivating revolutionary cultural identity of college students to guide behavioral identity. |
