The high school stage is an important part of the life of many students.After entering the high school career,teenagers face various pressures from further studies,interpersonal relationships,and emotional changes.How to quickly adapt to these changes is an ability that high school freshmen urgently need to cultivate.Schools are places for young people to train their knowledge and skills before entering the society.Whether they can adapt to high school study and life smoothly will directly affect their study and quality of life in the three years of high school.Therefore,helping high school freshmen adapt to campus life and complete their high school studies has become a topic of high concern for parents and teachers.This paper takes 505 high school freshmen of B Middle School in Changsha City as the research object,adopts the method of literature analysis,scale method,unstructured interview,and questionnaire to investigate and analyze the adaptation status of B middle school freshmen,and finds that the overall adaptation of high school freshmen is The level is not high.Based on the survey results and under the guidance of system theory,the social worker analyzed the cause of the problem,selected 10 students as group members,designed targeted service plans according to their needs,and implemented 7 service interventions.Review the whole process,carry out process evaluation and result evaluation of group work,use post-scale test,satisfaction survey,and interview to evaluate the changes of group members,and summarize and reflect,and come to the conclusion: group work is helping high school freshmen quickly adapt to high school Studying and living,changing the maladaptive situation,and shortening the maladaptive period have obvious effects.Therefore,it is of great significance for group work to intervene in the maladaptive problem of high school freshmen.
