Adolescence is a very important period in the development of each individual's life.Junior high school freshmen are in a critical period of life.At this stage,they face the change of learning and living environment.Many new students will adapt to bad problems in learning,interpersonal relationship,life and so on,which may lead to the emergence of new students.Poor performance,bad interpersonal relationships,mental and poor health conditions,serious people may even appear weary of learning,interrupt their studies and so on.Faced with these problems,the traditional methods of Freshmen in domestic schools seem inadequate and can not meet the diverse needs of freshmen.Based on the author's practical research in the B middle school in Nanjing,combined with a variety of professional theories,such as social learning theory and other professional theories,the author uses the method of empirical research to study the problem of the group work method in the adaptation aspects of the junior middle school students in the junior middle School of B.First of all,this paper uses the methods of questionnaire,interview and observation to analyze the needs of the new students.Then,according to the definition of the school adaptation in the literature study,this paper summarizes and analyzes the new adaptation problems and the origin of the new students in the four aspects of learning,interpersonal relationship,emotion and life.Because of.Secondly,based on the theory of social learning,advantage perspective and other professional theories,relying on the professional value concept of social work,and using the professional methods of group work,specific group activities are designed aiming at the new students' adaptation problems,including self identification,interpersonal communication,career planning and confidence building respectively.In four aspects,the four theme activities are designed to enable the team members to grow up and improve their ability in the group in order to help junior middle school students to solve the problems encountered in the transition period of primary school and help them to better adapt to the new life.Finally,based on the empirical study of the new freshmen in the Middle School of B middle school,this paper makes an evaluation and Reflection on the intervention of the group work.On the one hand,it proves that the group work is a useful attempt to intervene the adaptation problem of the junior high school freshmen.It has played a good role,and has got the freshmen,the new parents,the teachers and the school leaders.On the other hand,in the process of reflection,there are many inadequacies in the group intervention,including the recruitment and screening of group members is not reasonable enough,the design content of the group activities is not coherent and deep,many difficulties in the group activities have not been effectively dealt with,and the professional ability of the group workers needs to be promoted.The group assessment method is too single,the group method still needs to be improved,and the service object is lack of follow-up.In the face of these shortcomings,I also put forward some own views in the process of reflection,hoping to provide some experience for the study of junior high school students' adaptation through their own practice research and reflection.
