Learners’ cognitive input is not only an important variable of learning,but also the embodiment of learners’ learning quality.To a certain extent,it can also reflect the learning quality.One of the educational objectives of universities is to enable students to obtain high-quality learning.However,in recent years,the learning situation of college students is not optimistic,and the problem of education quality is gradually becoming prominent.Therefore,how to improve students’ learning quality should be the focus of colleges and universities.This study takes college students’ cognitive input as the research perspective,uses cognitive learning theory,and completes the research on the current situation and influencing factors of College Students’ cognitive input through the combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research.Firstly,in the theoretical research part,this paper defines the theoretical basis of cognitive input in the core viewpoints of classical psychological literature and cognitive learning theory,and precipitates the theoretical analysis framework from three aspects: memory input,thinking input and cognitive strategy input.Then,guided by the problem,the theoretical analysis is applied to practice.Based on the analysis framework of cognitive input,after combing the relevant empirical research in the academic circles,this paper carries out empirical research on the current situation and influencing factors of College Students’ cognitive input by means of questionnaire survey,and completes the observation of the current situation of cognitive input,the excavation of existing problems and the exploration of solutions by using mature theories.On the whole,this study observes practical problems from a theoretical perspective.On the one hand,it adheres to the value and highlights of theoretical research and enriches the connotation of cognitive investment research with cognitive learning theory,so as to provide theoretical basis and ideas for subsequent related research;On the other hand,deepen the empirical research on learning practice,use mature theories to observe the current situation of College Students’ cognitive investment,deeply analyze the causes of the problems,and put forward practical suggestions to improve the level of College Students’ cognitive investment.Secondly,this study completes the questionnaire based on the learning characteristics of college students and previous studies.First,30 pre-test samples were used to complete the item analysis and revise the questionnaire.Then invite relevant experts to further evaluate the content of the questionnaire to ensure that the questionnaire has high reliability and validity,so as to form a formal questionnaire.A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed and 470 valid questionnaires were collected.Firstly,using descriptive statistics and independent sample t-test to analyze and process the data,the following results are obtained:(1)J college students’ cognitive input is generally at a medium level.(2)There are significant differences in gender variables in college students’ cognitive input,and the difference between boys and girls is the most significant in thinking input.(3)There are some differences in grade and major variables,but they are not significant.Then,in terms of influencing factors,through correlation analysis and regression analysis,it is concluded that learners’ personal factors,learning environment factors and teachers’ factors have significant effects on cognitive input.Finally,based on the data analysis,this study deeply studies the current situation and influencing factors of College Students’ cognitive investment,and finds the following problems: College Students’ self-management ability is not strong,lack of reflective spirit,and the overall rational thinking ability needs to be improved;The attribution ability of college students is weak and the sense of self-efficacy is low;In the learning process,there is a lack of interaction and communication between teachers and students.Then,in view of the above problems,this study puts forward the following suggestions on how to improve the level of College Students’ cognitive Investment: First,change the evaluation method and establish a reasonable evaluation system.Improve the system from three aspects: evaluation content,evaluation method and evaluation subject,so as to ensure students’ cognitive investment.Second,strengthen learners’ self-management and enhance their sense of self-efficacy.In the process of learning,learners should clarify their learning objectives and enhance their confidence in facing difficulties,so as to actively meet academic challenges.Third,promote effective interaction between teachers and students and build a good relationship between teachers and students.From paying attention to teachers’ "teaching" to students’ "learning",so as to strengthen students’ cognitive input in the process of teaching interaction.Fourth,optimize the campus learning environment and create good learning conditions.Based on the law of students’ own development,create an intelligent learning space,apply modern cognitive tools,and improve students’ cognitive investment level.
