A Study On College Students’ Learning Engagement And Its Influencing Factors In Intelligent Classroom

With the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology in the field of education,a new round of teaching innovation and practice is triggered,and concepts such as intelligent education and intelligent learning space are constantly emerging.This study reflects the learning effect of college students in smart classroom by their learning engagement state.Based on the investigation of the status quo of learning engagement and influencing factors,it thoroughly clarifies the existing problems of college students in smart classroom,and explores the influencing mechanism of their learning engagement level,so as to give strategies to improve the productivity of smart classroom.In this study,college students who have participated in classroom learning in smart classrooms in various colleges and universities in Henan Province are selected as the research objects.Based on the relevant literature,data samples are collected through asking questions,and the status quo and influencing factors of college students’ learning engagement in smart classrooms are analyzed by SPSS26.0,and suggestions are given.The main contents of this study include the following four aspects: First,according to the theory of learning engagement continuum and literature research,the concept of learning engagement is defined,and the framework of influencing factors based on the combination of human and context is constructed.Among them,learning input in smart classroom conceptualizes behavioral input,emotional input,cognitive input and social interaction input.Sinatra’s continuum model of learning engagement and ternary decision interaction theory provide theoretical basis for the division of influencing factors of learning engagement from individual factors,behavioral factors and environmental factors.Secondly,we compiled a questionnaire on the status quo and influencing factors of college students’ learning engagement in smart classroom,analyzed the level of learners’ learning engagement,and found the problems existing in the status quo of college students’ learning engagement.Thirdly,it analyzes the influencing factors of learning engagement in smart classroom,and analyzes the relationship between each influencing factor and learning engagement by multiple regression analysis.Fourthly,according to the research results,four strategies,namely,improving efficiency,strengthening construction,transforming knowledge into wisdom and deep interaction,are used to help improve the level of college students’ learning input in wisdom classroom,and provide reference for the development of wisdom classroom and wisdom education in colleges and universities.After the project analysis,reliability and validity test,descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis of the research data,the data analysis results show that: First,the current situation of college students’ learning engagement in smart classroom:(1)In descriptive statistical analysis of learning engagement,the state of college students’ learning engagement is at a medium level.Among them,the high level of emotional input shows that learners maintain high enthusiasm and motivation for learning in the wisdom classroom;However,learners have a low level of cognitive engagement,and they need to further strengthen self-monitoring and regulation.(2)In the analysis of demographic differences,different types of smart classrooms affect learners’ learning engagement.Compared with basic and extended smart classrooms,advanced smart classrooms can enhance learners’ learning engagement.In addition,the frequency of attending classes in smart classrooms every week also affects learners’ learning engagement level.Having the opportunity to study in smart classrooms once a week can enhance learners’ learning engagement level,which shows that strengthening the construction level of smart classrooms and the sustainability of their use is the prerequisite for enhancing learners’ learning engagement.Second,the factors that affect college students’ learning engagement in smart classroom: individual factors affect all dimensions of dependent variables of college students’ learning engagement in smart classroom;Behavioral factors affect college students’ behavior,cognition and social interaction input in smart classroom;Environmental factors affect the behavior,emotion and social interaction of college students in smart classroom.There is a positive correlation between all influencing factors and learning engagement.The state of college students’ learning engagement is influenced by individual,behavior and environmental factors,especially "environmental factors",which also reflects that the development of smart classroom is conducive to deepening learners’ deep participation.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in the intermediate perspective of learning engagement continuum,which puts "learning engagement" into Bandura’s ternary interactive decision theory model.As one of the important roles in the classroom,learners are linked with "individual","behavior" and "environment",and an extended model of influencing factors of learning engagement which combines "internal circulation and external circulation of society" is established.Therefore,the dimension of social interaction input in learning input is added,and the influencing factors also pay attention to the influence of behavioral factors on learners,which provides a new theoretical perspective and basis for the investigation of learning input and the construction of the framework of influencing factors.In addition,there are still some shortcomings in this study,which need to be improved in the future research.
