Local resources have strong regional characteristics and unique advantages that textbooks do not have.If they are reasonably and effectively developed and utilized in educational activities,they play an important role in the implementation and cultivation of students’ core literacy.The role and value of local resources in educational activities have also been recognized by more and more teachers.How to effectively use and develop local resources in educational activities,and how to nourish students’ feelings of home and country are worthy of our study and reflection.In order to implement the cultivation of students’ core literacy,provide reference for front-line teachers,and enlighten educators,this study takes Dongguan t middle school as the research object,adopts literature research,questionnaire survey,individual interview and other research methods to investigate the current situation of local resources integration into education activities,analyze the existing problems,and then analyze the impact of local resources integration into education activities Finally,the corresponding strategies are put forward.First of all,through the literature research method to define the relevant concepts,to sort out and analyze the domestic and foreign research on local resources,taking Dewey’s empirical learning theory and Tao Xingzhi’s life education theory as the theoretical basis.Secondly,through the literature research method to collect and systematize the local resources of Dongguan City,analyze its educational value and role;through the questionnaire survey and interview method to understand the current situation and problems of the integration of local resources into educational activities.The author finds the following problems: Students’ overall understanding of local resources is low,and local cultural knowledge is little,which needs to be improved;students are very lack of initiative to understand and understand local resources;teachers’ awareness of using and developing local resources as curriculum resources is still lacking,and less is implemented in action;teachers’ teaching and research ability in the development and utilization of local resources and The professional level needs to be improved;the local teaching materials are marginalized;the school’s guidance on the use and development of local resources in education and teaching is insufficient;the relevant government departments have not enough efforts to develop and utilize local resources as education resources.Then according to the analysis of the current situation and problems,the author concludes that the main factors that affect the integration of local resources into educational activities are: teachers,students,management and evaluation.Finally,four strategies are put forward for the integration of local resources into educational activities: first,the guidance of local education departments and the strategy of curriculum;second,the guidance of schools and the strategy of activity development;third,the guidance of teachers and the strategy of teaching application;fourth,the strategy of motivation stimulation and active participation.It is hoped that it will be helpful to make full use of local resources in education and teaching activities,cultivate students’ core literacy,and nourish students’ feelings of home and country.
