Professional Social Work In Medical And Nursing Institutions For The Aged Service Research

Population aging is the product of social and historical development.Under the background of population aging,diversified pension models meet the needs of social development."Medical" and "support" formed by the combination of medical and support pension model is the mainstream trend of the current society,gradually replacing the family pension model.The medical-support combination pension model is the modernization of taking the advantages of family endowment,institution endowment and community endowment as a whole,and has the mode of rehabilitation and medical treatment.Professional social work participates in the internal operation of the nursing home,aiming to coordinate resources and promote the cooperation between the two parties,so as to improve the service quality of the elderly to the maximum level and meet the needs of the service objects.After nearly three months of practice,based on institutional practice and using qualitative methods,I interviewed the management personnel,the elderly,the elderly family members and the nursing workers in nursing institutions combining medical care and nursing care,and collected first-hand information.According to different interview contents,the advantages and disadvantages of combining medical and nursing care institutions for the aged were specifically understood.Through interviews,professional social workers had a preliminary grasp of the operation process of medical and nursing institutions.Participate in case work and group work with professional methods to solve problems in elderly care services exposed in the service process.And using the theory of social support theory and social ecological system,analyses on the medical institutions of different people,including the service object,service professionals,the agency itself and the professional social work itself,for the subsequent proposal is to provide a different perspective,optimized path,also provide systematic d have combined with the development of practical advice.Through the guidance of case work method in professional social work,the elderly have improved their cognitive ability and ideology,and promoted the healthy development of personal body and mind.Use rational emotion therapy to correct unreasonable thoughts;Set goals to promote the growth of older people.And the use of group work to improve the ability of the elderly to participate in society,which is embodied in the following aspects: rebuilding the social support network system of the elderly group;Provide personalized services for the elderly using existing resources;Enhance the communication ability of the elderly group.Relying on the existing resources and social environment,medical-care institutions for the aged play the role of information provider,resource link and relationship coordinator through the participation of professional social workers in the community as a link.There are mainly five problems in the process of professional social workers’ participation in the service of medical-nursing nursing institutions: the service objects have low satisfaction and trust in group activities;The service objects showed a strong sense of family attachment when they participated in activities;Lack of professional personnel and professional quality needs to be improved;Insufficient funds for activity venues;It is difficult to truly assess the outcome of the intervention.Therefore,problem-oriented,it is suggested that professional social workers participate in A combined medical and nursing nursing institution for the aged: First,for service objects: Provide professional psychological assistance for the elderly;To enhance the awareness and trust of the elderly in institutions;To improve the elderly’s cognition and trust in institutions.Second,for professional service personnel: to provide professional social work services;Enhancing resilience of professional service staff;Assist to improve the professionalism of professional service staff.Third,for the institution itself: play the role of advocate,and support the institution to participate in the construction of the family nursing bed model;Give full play to the role of resource link,and actively link social resources to support the development of institutions;Assist to strengthen the communication and coordination between medical institutions and pension institutions;Establish internal special funds and introduce internal assessment mechanism.Last,professional social workers themselves: define the norms of socialized old-age service and adhere to the professional ethics of social work;Clear social work responsibilities,do a good job;Carry out organizational construction to reduce staff turnover rate;Enrich service content and enhance professional skills of social workers.The purpose is to promote the exploration of the combination of medical care and nursing care in more fields,in order to realize the extension of the range of old-age care services.
