Practical Research On Case Work Intervention In Home-based Elderly Disabled

The main data results of the seventh national census show that China’s population over the age of 60 is 264.02 million,accounting for 18.7%,which indicates that China’s population aging is further deepened and will continue to face the pressure of long-term balanced population development in the future.Pension related issues have attracted the attention of the government and all sectors of society.In the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it is proposed to build a policy system and social environment for the elderly,filial piety and respect for the elderly,promote the combination of medical care and elderly care,and accelerate the development of the cause and industry of the elderly.This has pointed out the direction for the cause of providing for the aged with Chinese characteristics in the new era.In the process of actively exploring services for the elderly,home-based elderly care has the advantages of integrating social resources and meeting the elderly care needs.It has the necessity,superiority and feasibility of its existence and development,and has been widely valued and applied.Disabled elders are the key group to solve the problem of providing for the aged.Data show that the number of disabled elders in China is gradually increasing,but the required service resources are insufficient.Combination of medical and nursing care is the core content of old-age service based on the needs of old-age care after in-depth study,and it is also the key measure to solve the problem of elderly care at home.In recent years,party committees and governments at all levels have attached great importance to the development of medical care services,and have successively issued a series of policies and measures,which have been effectively implemented by various localities according to specific conditions.Therefore,social work is based on the combination of medical and nursing care,and it has certain practical significance to discuss the research on the disabled elders who are aged at home.In this study,the disabled elders living at home in T institution of Guangzhou are taken as the main research object,supported by social support theory and advantage perspective theory,and the professional methods of social work are used to provide services for the disabled elders.On the basis of combing the basic situation of the elderly,the author collected data through questionnaires and unstructured interviews,identified the basic problems and needs of the disabled elders,worked out service plans for the elderly through joint nursing stations,and carried out a series of services to solve the practical problems of the elderly.Through the evaluation and summary of the service process of home-based elderly care disabled elders,we can understand the possible problems of case work in providing services for the elderly,and try to put forward countermeasures and suggestions in combination with the actual situation,so as to provide ideas and model reference for serving a wider group of elders,and expand new methods of social work providing services.
