Research On Community Relations Improvement Through Social Work

In the construction of community pluralistic governance system,community neighborhood committees,as one of the main bodies,have an irreplaceable and important role.h communities,due to the tendency of administrative work,the uneven level of staff,the entanglement of interests with community properties,and the single communication channel with residents,have led to the indifferent service consciousness,poor service attitude and working ability of community neighborhood committee staff,the lack of residents’ position,the alienation between the neighborhood committee and residents,and the dirty environment.These problems have not been effectively solved for a long time,resulting in the dissatisfaction of community residents with the work of community committees.Since the residents are not satisfied with the work of the community committee,the work of the committee in the community cannot be carried out normally,and thus the community governance is in a state of failure.To solve the problem of governance failure,the first thing is to reconstruct the residents’ satisfaction and trust in the community committee and enhance the reputation of the committee.Therefore,this paper focuses on the intervention of social work in the process of community governance to help community councils improve their relationship with residents and to promote their reputation.In this paper,we use a combination of questionnaire survey and interview methods to apply the community social work approach.The specific activities include the donation of unused items,learning and education activities in the 3:30 classroom,garbage sorting and environmental remediation activities,and seminars on people’s opinions.This paper uses the image element analysis method to examine the effectiveness of social work activities and finds that social work is effective in enhancing the reputation of community councils.
