In recent years,the average and median ages of the floating population in my country have gradually increased.Driven by the rapid development of population migration and the aging of the population,the migration and flow of middle-aged and elderly floating population has gradually become the focus of attention of all parties.Due to the differences in the household registration system and economic structure between the migration of the floating population,the floating population is in a state of "floating but not moving",and it is difficult to integrate into the place of inflow and live permanently.In addition,the high unemployment risk of the middle-aged and elderly floating population exposes them to the dual risks of long-term unemployment and temporary unemployment at the same time.It is very likely that they will have a high possibility of returning home due to short-term economic fluctuations.Due to the limited accumulation of human capital,the middle-aged and elderly floating population with rural household registration has made the integration process more difficult and bumpy,and the prospect of integration is not known.On the whole,the degree of integration of the middle-aged and elderly migrant population increases with the level of education,the integration level of the inter-provincial migrant population is low,the degree of integration of the inter-county people in the city is higher,and the extension of the residence time in the inflow area will promote the integration process.The interactive experience is conducive to social integration,and its final level of social integration varies with the city that flows into it.From the perspective of the middle-aged and elderly floating population,this article elaborates the research background and significance of employment stability on the social integration of the middle-aged and elderly floating population,and then conducts a systematic analysis of the current research status of employment stability on the social integration of the middle-aged and elderly floating population.Provide documentation basis.This article starts from the two dimensions of measuring the employment stability since entering the city by the number of vertical job conversions and the types of labor contracts signed and whether to enjoy urban medical insurance to reflect the employment duration of the current job,and discusses the social integration of employment stability for middle-aged and elderly migrants.Using logistic regression model analysis and robustness analysis to explore the impact of employment stability on the social integration of middle-aged and elderly migrants.The research results show that:(1)The number of job changes,the type of labor contract signing,and the availability of urban medical insurance have a significant impact on the social integration of the middle-aged and elderly migrants.The more the number of job changes,the lower the degree of social integration,and the signing of labor contracts and The enjoyment of urban medical insurance has a significant role in promoting the social integration of the middle-aged and elderly migrant population.(2)The signing of labor contracts and the enjoyment of urban medical insurance have a significant positive effect on the social integration of middle-aged and elderly migrants,and it has a greater role in promoting men.(3)The number of job changes has a significant impact on the social integration of the middle-aged and elderly floating population in the east and west.The number of job changes has a negative impact on the middle-aged and elderly floating population in the eastern and central regions,and the impact on the middle-aged and elderly floating population in the western region is positive.(4)The number of job changes only has a significant positive impact on social integration in the wholesale and retail industry;while identity and social relations have a significant positive impact on the construction industry,manufacturing industry,and other industries.Based on the above situation,this article believes that to improve the social integration of the middle-aged and elderly migrants,it is necessary to continue to deepen the reform of the household registration system,improve the level of social security,improve the human capital of the middle-aged and elderly migrants,create a good atmosphere of integration,and advocate an inclusive urban mentality.
