Research On Employment Stability Of Floating Population In Hebei Province Based On Different Migration Patterns

Since the 18 th National Congress of China,the strategy of new urbanization development has been implemented in China,and the quality of urbanization development should be emphasized.In this context,the key to improve the quality of urbanization is to solve the problem of population urbanization and make the floating population live stably in the local area for a long time.At present,the migration mode of floating population in Hebei Province has gradually changed from non family migration to family migration.The migration of family members has put forward new requirements on the public service facilities and employment security in the inflow area.Employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood.The key to the citizenization of floating population is to solve the problem of employment stability of floating population.Only stable employment can bring stable income,thus improving the possibility of floating population living stably in the long term and promoting the improvement of urbanization quality.Taking the prefecture level cities of Hebei Province as the basic unit,this paper first summarizes the basic characteristics and spatial distribution characteristics of the floating population,and then classifies the migration mode and spatial distribution of the floating population in Hebei Province;Secondly,the employment stability of floating population in Hebei Province is classified and spatially classified according to the overall employment stability,and the characteristics of employment stability of floating population in three migration modes are analyzed;Finally,using Kendall correlation analysis,principal component analysis and binary logic analysis,this paper discusses the influencing factors of employment stability of floating population in different migration patterns from two aspects of personal characteristics and inflow characteristics.The results show that:(1)the floating population in Hebei Province is mainly family migration,More than 80% of the floating population have achieved stable employment,and the proportion of short-term stable employment is relatively high.Family migration can promote the employment stability of the floating population,but there is a significant gender difference in this effect.Family migration can promote the employment stability of men,but hinder the employment stability of women.With the improvement of education level,the employment stability of the floating population with family migration gradually becomes better,while the floating population with non family migration is on the contrary.(2)From the perspective of spatial distribution,there is a large gap in the employment stability of different family degree areas.The employment stability of high family degree area is low,the employment stability of medium family degree area is high,and the employment stability of low family degree area is the highest.(3)From the perspective of influencing factors,the individual factors of floating population have greater influence on employment stability than the factors of inflow.The employment stability of family migration is affected by both individual factors and inflow factors,while the non family migration is mainly affected by individual factors.Finally,according to the floating population employment and the reality of different regions in Hebei Province,this paper puts forward some targeted policy suggestions to provide guidance for the development of new urbanization in Hebei Province.
