| Since the reform and opening up,the scale of floating population has presented a state of rising fluctuation. In 2020,China’s floating population was about 376 million,an increase of69.73% over 2010.Floating population has become the main force in the labor market in the process of urbanization, and social integration has also become an inevitable trend of development. However,in recent years, the unemployment rate of floating population has increased and the difficulty of re-employment has increased, which has become the main obstacle to improve the quality of re-employment and urbanization of floating population.Unemployment will not only bring some negative effects to the floating population, but also affect the integration of the floating population and the mainstream social groups in the destination, and then affect the re-employment mode of the floating population, and reduce the employment quality of the floating population. Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the impact of social integration on the re-employment mode of the floating population to reduce its re-employment risk, improve the quality of re-employment,and promote the high-quality development of urbanization.By studying relevant literature and taking social integration and behavioral choice theory as the theoretical support, this paper first constructed a binary Logistic regression model to analyze the impact of social integration, including economic integration, behavioral integration, cultural integration and psychological integration on the re-employment mode of floating population. The results show that :(1)social integration, including economic integration, behavioral integration, cultural integration and psychological integration, has a significant positive impact on the re-employment mode of the floating population. The higher the degree of integration, the more the floating population is inclined to low-risk re-employment mode.(2)Except for gender, marital status and household registration, age, education level and health status all have significant effects on the re-employment mode of floating population. On this basis, this paper uses Probit regression and sub-sample regression to further test the impact of social integration on the re-employment mode of floating population, and draws the following conclusions: Social integration, including economic integration and psychological integration, has no significant impact on the re-employment mode of different groups of floating population, but behavioral integration and cultural integration have more significant impact on the re-employment mode of married floating population, healthy floating population and non-agricultural hukou floating population.Thirdly, the mediating effect model is used to test the mechanism of social integration on the re-employment mode of floating population. The test results show that social integration can affect the re-employment mode of floating population by changing the employment concept of floating population, and can also affect the re-employment mode of floating population by improving their risk aversion ability. Finally, this paper puts forward feasible suggestions from the aspects of improving the social integration degree of floating population, such as economic integration, behavioral integration, cultural integration and psychological integration, changing the employment concept of floating population, and improving the ability of floating population to avoid risks. |
