Laos is the only multi-ethnic landlocked country in Southeast Asia.Due to national development,national education is relatively lagging,especially for girls from ethnic minorities in poor mountainous areas in Laos.The education level of ethnic minority girls not only affects the overall quality of their own nation,but also affects the education of the next generation and the overall improvement of the education level of Laos.With the economic and social development and progress of Laos,the educational level of ethnic minority girls in Laos has shown an upward trend,but the overall education level is still relatively low,and ethnic minority girls in impoverished mountainous areas still need to upgrade their basic education levels.This research is based on the current research status at home and abroad,taking the Yao girls’ primary school and junior high school education in Mengxing County,Nanta Province,northern mountainous region of Laos,as the research objects,using literature research and investigation methods to understand the basic conditions of local customs,educational concepts,gender culture,etc.Summarize and summarize the current status and problems of girls’ education in the Yao area in Mengxing County,Nanta Province,Laos,and analyze the education level and social environment,national policies,and family of Lao Yao girls based on the theory of gender and education equity.The relationship between factors,individuals,etc.,summarizes the historical reasons and practical dilemmas of minority girls’ education problems,and analyzes the impact of girls’ education on the self-worth and identity of women at the individual level of women through case studies,and at the social level,girls’ The impact of education on family life,population quality and ethnic prejudice emphasizes the importance of minority girls’ education to personal and social development.Finally,it exploratively proposes countermeasures and general approaches suitable for improving the education level of ethnic minority girls in Laos’ mountainous regions.,To help the continuous development of the education of girls in the third world.
