China and Laos are neighboring countries, separated only by a strip of water, the history and culture of the two countries are very long, traditional friendship is very deep, in history on long-term exchanges and cooperation in the economic, cultural and social fields. Laos in 1975 formally established the Democratic People’s Republic of China and accelerate the process of opening up to the outside world,1989 to achieve the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries relations, bilateral economic and cultural exchanges made great development, especially in 2010 China ASEAN Free Trade Area officially launched, China and Laos between in the field of education of all-round cooperation has laid a solid foundation. In this paper, the basic situation of the education of Laos, including the education system, the status quo of education and its development direction, and then analyzes the history of China’s education aid to Laos, the focus from the China Laos bilateral relations, China’s history of education in Laos, China’s assistance to Laos (economic aid,Human resource assistance, cultural and educational output, bilateral cooperation and innovation, the impact of China’s education aid to Laos (accelerate the reform of the education system, optimize the form and content of education, improve the quality and level of education, promote the development of education in China. The research methods used in this paper include historical documents, case study method. The research of this paper is of theoretical significance and practical value. From the view of theory, can systematically Chinese Laos characteristics in terms of education history culture and education system, combing the China education aid to Laos history, quantity, content, form, mechanism and effect; in practice, the basic status quo is to clarify the Chinese aid to Laos education, analysis of the current Chinese of Education aid in Laos clear advantages and disadvantages, difficulties, and on this basis, put forward the countermeasures and suggestions, in order to effectively promote the level of the real Chinese Laos education aid and improve the quality of education, promote bilateral cultural exchanges in the field of development, promote the development of education in Laos.
