Vocational education is an important part of China’s education,which undertakes the important task of training high-quality and highly skilled talents for the socialist modern construction.In recent years,the government has invested more and more in vocational education,but there are still some problems in the teaching process,such as students’ weak interest in learning,poor learning effect and so on.In view of this,the state vigorously promotes the reform of education and teaching,and encourages the use of new teaching methods to stimulate students’ interest in learning,so as to improve the teaching effect.Scaffolding instruction is developed on the basis of constructivism and zone of proximal development theory.It advocates giving students timely and appropriate guidance according to their learning situation in the teaching process,so as to achieve the meaningful construction of knowledge.Scaffolding Teaching emphasizes the main position of students,which not only helps to stimulate students’ interest in learning,but also improves the teaching effect.The purpose of this paper is to improve the current teaching situation of Computer Application Foundation course,and improve the students’ learning effect through Scaffolding Teaching.At the same time,we should timely analyze and deal with the problems during the research,and adjust the support used in the teaching process.Therefore,the content of this paper is mainly divided into the following aspects: first of all,mainly through the questionnaire to investigate the students’ interest in learning,learning autonomy,group cooperative learning,teaching evaluation and students’ knowledge mastery,etc.,sort out the questionnaire data and analyze the existing problems in the current "Computer Application Foundation" course teaching,analyze the causes of the problems.Then analyze the feasibility of Scaffolding Teaching and combine with the characteristics of secondary vocational "Computer Application Foundation" course and students’ characteristics,apply the Scaffolding Teaching to the secondary vocational "Computer Application Foundation" course,and then carry out the research,constantly observe the process,constantly find problems,and put forward improvement strategies.Finally,through the questionnaire,we can know that scaffolding teaching is conducive to improving the teaching effect,stimulating students’ interest in learning,improving students’ learning autonomy,enhancing students’ cooperative learning ability and enhancing learning effect..The application of Scaffolding Teaching in the course of Computer Application Foundation in secondary vocational schools will bring a certain degree of positive effect for teaching,provide a reference direction for the reform of classroom teaching methods of computer application foundation in secondary vocational schools,broaden the application scope of Scaffolding Teaching,and provide some experience for the research of Scaffolding Teaching.
