The frequent occurrence of campus violence has attracted more and more attention from the society.Campus violence has not only caused serious harm to students and the whole society,but also indirectly dealt a heavy blow to the normal teaching order of the campus and brought more stringent requirements for the campus management of teachers.From the long-term impact of school violence,it will affect the healthy growth of young people,but also affect the normal management order of the stability of the campus and the harmonious development of the society.Campus violence includes two aspects: physical violence and psychological violence,which take place in the campus and the outside reasonable influence range,take the self,the student,the teacher as the main body,the spirit,the property and so on causes the infringement,can be manifested through the three dimensions of witnessing,suffering,the implementation of the behavior.Parenting style refers to the relatively stable educational style generated in the parent-child relationship,mainly formed in the process of children being raised and educated by parents.Impulsiveness is a stable personality characteristic and psychological tendency,which is popularly expressed as "act without thinking" by people.Impulsive people tend to react quickly to external or internal stimuli,which may cause negative effects on them or others.In this paper,the author mainly explores the relationship between the parenting style,impulsive personality and school violence of junior high school students,and deeply analyzes the role of impulsive personality in the influence of parenting style on school violence of junior high school students.To study the impact of impulsive personality and parenting style on school violence in junior high school students can improve parents’ attention to parenting style and society’s cognition of school violence,and pay more attention to the mental health of junior high school students.Based on previous research experience,this paper will use the violence behavior scale of middle school students,evaluation scale of parenting style and Barratt impulsivity scale to investigate the parenting style,school violence behavior and impulsivity of 450 students in a middle school in Henan province in the form of questionnaire.The emphasis is to explore the role of impulsive personality in the influence of parental rearing style on the school violence behavior of junior high school students,so as to construct the relationship model among the three factors.The results show that:(1)the overall situation of school violence of junior high school students was ranked according to the mean comparative tendency: witness violence > encounters violence >commits violence.Structural classification tendency: psychological violence > physical violence.(2)there is a significant difference between the dimensions of violence,such as theimplementation,experience and witnessing,and the gender,grade and one-child status of junior high school students.In terms of gender,male students witnessed and committed violence significantly higher than female students in junior high school violence,and there was no significant gender difference in violence encounter.In terms of grade: the occurrence rate of witnessing,encountering and committing violence in grade two is significantly higher than that in grade one.Only-child or not: only the only-child is higher than the only-child in the violence.(3)the impulsiveness score of junior high school students is significantly different in grade factors: grade 3 > grade 2>grade 1.(4)there are obvious differences in gender,grade and other factors of parental rearing.Gender: there are significant differences in parenting styles between boys and girls.(5)The parenting style and impulsive personality of junior high school students are related to school violence.Positive parenting style is negatively correlated with school violence,while negative parenting style is positively correlated with school violence.Impulsive personality is positively correlated with school violence.(6)Impulsive personality is partly mediating between the positive and negative parenting styles of parents and school violence.The results not only provide theoretical basis for junior high school students health of body and mind development,also can deepen the cognition to the bullying formation and defense mechanism,in order to scientifically from personal factors(impulsive personality),environmental factors(parents)reduce the frequency of bullying,in the protection of teenagers normal school learning and life experience to provide advice and reference.
