The level of academic achievement is often used as an important indicator to me asure the self-development and competitive ability of junior middle school students in our country,which has been widely paid attention to by researchers in the educational circle of our country.The learning engagement ability of junior middle school students in China is considered to be an important factor that directly affects their academic performance.This study selected 942 students is from two public junior high school aShaoyang City,Hunan Province as the research objects,using the Simplistic Parentin g Style Scale developed by Jiang Jiao et al.(2009),the Peer Relationship Scale developed by Guo Boliang at all,and the Learning Engagement Scale compiled and used by Fang Lai Tan.To investigate very the influence of parental rearing style on learn engagement and the mediating role is peer relationship of the research object.The results show that:(1)It can be seen that the gender differences in the parenting style of children in junior high schools are quite significant.Specifically,boys among junior high school students score significantly better than girls among junior high school students on the negative parenting style of their parents.Different grades of junior high school students have significant differences in parental rearing styles,peer relationships and learning input.Specifically,the second grade of junior high school students whose parents’ negative parenting styles scored higher than the previous lower grade students,and the first two lower grades of junior high school students had lower emotional warmth from their mothers than the third grade of junior high school.The relationship scores of third-year students in junior high school are lower than those in the first grade,and their learning input is also lower than the other two lower grades.The Peer relationship of junior high school students very important different from that are students.The peer relationship of urban junior high school students is better than that of rural children.(2)The learning input an junior high school students is significantly positively correlated with their peer relationships and very positive parenting styles of their parents,while th enegative parenting styles of the parents are negatively correlated;a positive styles of the parents and the peer relationship scores show is a significant positive correlation.There is a significant positive very correlation,and the negative parenting on style of parents is the opposite.(3)The parenting style are junior high school students will is significantly their learning input.The peer relationship of junior high school students very a significant mediating effect between their parents’ active parenting style is learning in.Specifically,the peer relationship very can positively predict learning input,and the is active parenting style positively predicts learning int;peer relationship is in the middle school student’s The mediating effect between parental negative parenting style and learning investment is significant.The specific manifestation is that parental negative parenting style can significantly negatively predict peer relationship,and then significantly negatively predict academic investment.The results show that the learning input of junior is high school students is indee d greatly affected by their parental rearing styles,and the peer relationship also show an important aspect of the two.Therefore,helping to improve the peer relationship of junior high school students will help them effectively increase their academic investment and have a positive impact on promoting their academic performance. |
