The Impact Of Mobile Internet Use On The Employment Quality Of Young Rural Migrant Workers

In recent years,mobile Internet has become a key pillar of the Internet economy,playing an increasingly important role in our daily life.With the support of mobile Internet,the function of smart phone terminal becomes more powerful.At the same time,young rural migrant workers gradually become the main source of urban labor.Compared with the older generation of rural migrant workers,young rural migrant workers are more able to accept new things,and they are more inclined to work with technical gold content.Ensuring the employment of young rural migrant workers plays an important role in maintaining social stability and promoting economic development.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the employment quality of young rural migrant workers.How the use of mobile Internet affects the employment quality of young rural migrant workers is the main research content of this paper.Based on the questionnaire survey of young rural migrant workers in Wuhan,Hubei Province,this paper takes young rural migrant workers in Wuhan as the research object.On the one hand,it describes the use of mobile Internet in terms of the proportion of young rural migrant workers,online content,online job-hunting methods and online vocational education.On the other hand,it describes and analyzes the current situation of employment quality from the educational level,employment time cost,rights and interests maintenance,working distance,employment information acquisition method and quantity of young rural migrant workers.Taking the frequency of mobile Internet use as an independent variable,the employment quality is measured by the equal weight average value of four sub indicators: wage level,working time,employment stability and career promotion space,and the data is empirically tested by OLS regression model and probit regression model.This paper analyzes the impact of the use of mobile Internet on the employment quality of young rural migrant workers.The results show that the use of mobile Internet has a positive impact on the quality of employment and the above four sub indicators,and the impact is significant.Specifically,the use of mobile Internet can improve the wage level of young rural migrant workers and reduce their work intensity,and can help young rural migrant workers improve the stability of employment and the possibility of having career promotion.At the same time,five suggestions are put forward to improve the employment quality of young rural migrant workers: Enterprises should take the social responsibility to improve the employment quality of young rural migrant workers.Internet companies should maintain the order of network and protect the individual privacy of young rural migrant workers.The government should strengthen the education construction in rural areas.The government should advocate young rural migrant workers to choose a reasonable distance to go out to work.Young migrant workers should actively use mobile Internet for online learning to enhance competitiveness.
