More priorities are given to the teaching of Chinese characters even in the contemporary primary Chinese education.In addition,literacy section of Chinese textbook prepared by ministry of education not only change its former arrangement of teaching materials,but also has a higher request for words learning and writing,both of which increase the difficulty of Chinese character teaching.Specially,literacy lays the ground work for students to read and is critical to Chinese learning.Thus,it becomes the important of Chinese teaching at present.Amid the widely application of Chinese textbook prepared by the ministry of education,every pedagogy researcher comes up against the urgent question that how to improve the quality of literacy teaching and promote the overall development of students.Based on this background,the dissertation is divided into five chapters to solve these problems by dint of literature research,the questionnaire survey and the interview with teachers and students.Before explaining the significance of the topic,the research ideas,and the status of literature research on this topic,the reason for electing this topic is clearly discussed in the introduction of the first chapter.Then followed by an analysis and investigation of the current situation of literacy teaching in the lowed grades of primary school in the second chapter,which attach more attention to the design and implementation of the survey.In order to have a good command of the current situation of literacy teaching in the lower grades of A primary school,more details about the problems existing in the literacy are given in the third chapter by means of literature leach,questionnaire surveys,including the respectively interviews with teacher and students.As the key chapter of this thesis,the causes and countermeasures of problems existing in literacy teaching of lower grades are discussed.Specific suggestions for the implementation of literacy teaching in the lower graders,respectively from the aspect of teacher’s "teaching" and student’s "learning".Firstly,teacher should study the curriculum standards in depth as it looks to accurately grasp the essence of textbook;secondly,teacher must be committed to the cognitive law and carry out differentiated teaching;thirdly,in an attempt to following student’s own bent,teachers must design various teaching method in accordance with the characteristics ofChinese characters;finally,the strengthening of home and school cooperation will promote literacy teaching.Next author continue to discuss from the aspect of student’s "learning" : to begin with,adopt a variety of ways to enhance students’ interest in literacy;then,stimulating personal interest in words learning and writing according to the campus environment;in addition,the student’s should make efforts to develop good habits of studying in a scientific and reasonable way.At last,student’s need to cultivate their ability of knowledge transfer as a part of theirs efforts to put theories into practice.The results of the research are summarized at the last chapter of paper,based on the results obtained in this research,some of thoughts left and directions for further research are discussed in this paper.
