| With the intensification of economic globalization,the state pays more and more attention to the development of vocational education,emphasizing that vocational education should adhere to the fundamental task of “Fostering Virtue Through Education” and train the technical personnel of “Morality and Skill”.Class is the basic unit of moral education work in schools and strengthening class construction is an important way to manage and educate people to realize the fundamental task of fostering virtue.The improvement of the effectiveness of vocational class construction in the study has the guiding significance for managers in secondary vocational schools.At the same time,the construction of secondary vocational class is an important part of the study of secondary vocational education,which has its independence and uniqueness.The effectiveness of class construction directly affects the effectiveness of class education and the development of students’ physical and mental health which is very important and necessary to be improved.As the important force of cultivating students’ ability in self-restraint,self-learning,self-education,self-development,and communication bridge among students,parents,schools and enterprises,head teachers in secondary vocational schools are guides of class construction,educators and conductors of students’ growth.Whether head teachers can master and use the effective method to guide the students to carry out class construction together is an important factor affecting the effectiveness of class construction.On the contrary,improving the effectiveness of class construction is also an important link to promote the work of head teachers effectively.According to characteristics of secondary vocational students,this study is based on the practice and reflection on the work of head teachers with many years of educational practical experience.Through the questionnaire survey completed by head teachers and students from Guangxi secondary vocational schools from September to November in 2019,the author accompanied students to parts of secondary vocational schools in Liuzhou to participate in educational internship.Meanwhile,the author conducted interviews and observations withsecondary vocational head teachers and students in Liuzhou Business School,Liuzhou Electronic Industry Vocational Technical School,Liuzhou Second Vocational and Technical School,and Liuzhou Traffic School.At present,the problems existing in the effectiveness of class construction through investigation are as followings: Firstly,due to work pressure,insufficient energy,and inadequate guidance and training of working methods,head teachers lacked motivation to complete school class management tasks and actively innovate class construction.Secondly,it was quite common to implement the goal of class construction with management instead of education,and to pursue the realization of the school examination class rules as the overall goal of the class.Thirdly,secondary vocational students had poor learning and living habits with complex psychological problems which were difficult to manage,and insufficient communication among class members resulted in students’ lack of initiative and effectiveness in participating in class construction.Fourthly,head teachers were still the main bodies in the implementation of class construction.Synergetic education force was not fully played,nor the management force.According to the results of the survey,by consulting literature,the author finds out several factors that affect the effectiveness of class construction in secondary vocational schools such as whether the main body of class construction is diversified and fully participates in class construction,whether head teachers guide the class construction work status positively,whether working methods are effective,whether the class construction multi-subjects maintain effective communication.In a word,whether there is an efficient participation in class building team,and whether the team members are involved in class construction within the scope.Therefore,this study combines Dewey’s education theory,Herbat’s moral theory,group dynamics theory and Maslow’s Theory of Needs and proposes that group guidance can be very effective in building efficient team,stimulating team members to promote their positive behaviors in team building,and then put forward the topic of group guidance as the core to improve the effectiveness of secondary vocational class construction.In the end,through the analysis of the case of “Sanjiang Mom” in Liuzhou Secondary Vocational School,a group guidance practice was carried out by randomly selecting a class in each of three grades of a secondary vocational school in Liuzhou to improve the actual effectiveness of group guidance and class construction. |
