| With the continuous development of education in China,family education has gradually shifted from the private sphere to the public sphere.The state has repeatedly emphasized the importance of teachers’ guidance in family education in policy documents,and proposed for the first time to strengthen teachers’ guidance ability in family education in the Opinions on Deepening Education and Teaching Reform and Comprehensively Improving the Quality of Compulsory Education.In the Guidelines for Evaluating the Quality of Compulsory Education,teachers’ guidance ability in family education is identified as one of the key points for evaluating teachers’ professional growth indicators.As a bridge between family,school,and society,primary school head teachers play an important role in guiding family education.Therefore,the research will focus on the current situation of primary school class teachers’ family education guidance ability,identify existing problems,analyze the reasons,and propose effective strategies,thereby providing a certain reference for the theoretical and practical work of primary school class teachers’ family education guidance.The research mainly adopts research methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,and so on.Taking the head teachers of M Primary School in Xilingol League as the research object,it investigates the cognitive ability,communication ability,emotional ability,collaboration ability,management ability,and summary and reflection ability of the head teachers in family education guidance.The research consists of an introduction,the concept and policy interpretation of family education guidance ability,an analysis of the current situation of the family education guidance ability of a class teacher in M primary school,the problems and root causes of the family education guidance ability of a class teacher in M primary school,and strategies to improve the family education guidance ability of a class teacher.The research found that there are the following problems in the family education guidance ability of M primary school head teachers: 1.The cognitive ability of primary school head teachers in family education guidance ability is low;2.The family education guidance ability of novice class teachers is relatively weak;3.The psychological quality of young class teachers in their family education guidance and communication skills needs to be improved;4.The application of technology in the family education guidance and management ability of middle-aged class teachers needs to be strengthened;5.The childless class teacher is at a disadvantage in the ability of family education guidance.To further analyze the root causes of these problems,it is found that at the school level,there is a lack of family education guidance content for teacher training,a lack of incentive systems for class teachers in family education guidance,and insufficient implementation of family education guidance policy documents by schools.Teacher level: Class teachers do not fully understand the importance of family education guidance,lack effective communication between class teachers and parents,and lack a strong sense of cooperation between class teachers and teachers in various disciplines.To address these issues,strategies are proposed to promote the ability of class teachers to guide family education from both the external and teacher perspectives.From the perspective of school management,optimize the training methods of class teachers’ family education guidance,focus on effectiveness,and increase the incentive system of family education guidance in schools to stimulate the motivation of class teachers’ work.In terms of providing support for family education guidance resources for class teachers in schools,improve the professionalism of family education guidance for class teachers,organize the development of family education guidance textbooks,and integrate family education resources both inside and outside the school.From the teacher level,class teachers should enhance their sense of identity with family education guidance,incorporate family education guidance into professional development planning,improve the effectiveness of communication with parents,and enhance their awareness of participating in family education guidance with teachers in various disciplines. |
