Investigation And Intervention Study On School Bullying In Primary School Students

Bullying on campus is a special kind of social problem which is widespread in the world.For younger,immature children,bullying on campus is more incalculable harm to them.Many studies have found that the problem of bullying in primary schools is more prominent than in secondary schools,so it is urgent to understand the characteristics of bullying in primary schools and prevent it early.Based on the literature analysis,this study used Chen Shiping’s revised Smith version of Child Bullying Questionnaire(Primary Edition)to test 801 primary school students in grades 3-6 to investigate the current situation and characteristics of bullying in primary school campus,to explore the relationship between bullying,bullying behavior and mental health status and forgiveness level respectively,and to carry out experimental research on intervention classes with forgiveness-themed class group counseling.The results of this study are as follows:(1)Bullying in schools is widespread in primary schools,and a small number of children need guidance on inappropriate attitudes and coping styles.(2)The problem of bullying in primary schools has the following characteristics: the peak period of bullying is grade four;more physical bullying occurs in boys and more verbal bullying occurs in girls;the classroom is the main place where bullying occurs;the bullies are mainly composed of boys and show the trend of "deceiving more and less ".(3)Mental health status and level of forgiveness are important factors affecting bullying on campus.From the perspective of mental health status,anxiety and confidence loss are effective indicators to predict bullying behavior;from the level of forgiveness,forgiveness of others is an effective indicator to predict bullying behavior.(4)Forgiveness-themed class group counseling is an effective way to reduce bullying behavior,improve mental health status and forgiveness level.
