Entrepreneurship has gained attention around the world in the past decades following its enormous contribution to the progress and sustainability of an economy.The evidence of entrepreneurship in job creation,new inventions and creativity in developing states is apparent.However,the evidence is not parallel to some developing nations like Ghana which has not yet recorded to an extent,the massive contribution of entrepreneurship education through entrepreneurship.In fact,the increasing rate in graduate unemployment has become a social canker which every government has to face.To find possible solutions,scholars over the years tried to find the link between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship.Though,researchers have presented results,there still exists variations across these results.Also,little research has been carried out on the subject in underdeveloped countries.To extend proof on the subject under review,the study aims to find first,the effects of individual factors on entrepreneurial intentions of college students.Secondly,the study aims to address the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intentions;and lastly,assess the moderating role of entrepreneurship education in the relationship between individual factors and entrepreneurial intentions of college students.The combine effect of individual factors and entrepreneurship education are unique in this study.To study employs Structural Equation Modeling(SEM)approach to analyze data collected and the moderation effect was measured by the use of Bootstrap Bias-Corrected Confident Interval at 95%,and the use of Sobel for further testing.Data was collected by the use of questionnaires from a convenient sample size of 255 college agriculture science students from the College of Agriculture Education,Mampong-University of Education,Winneba,Ghana.Results indicate that,individual factors and entrepreneurship education had a direct positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions.Further,entrepreneurship education had a significant positive moderating effect on the relationship between individual factors and entrepreneurial intentions of college students.The results of the study have made some significant inferences for policy makers and educators as a guide to institute,create and stimulate;in a practical and experiential learning of entrepreneurship.The study also contributes to finding more evidence on the use of intentions base approach theoretically and empirically.Lastly,the study also made significant contribution toward entrepreneurial education,through its moderating effects.
