Innovation and entrepreneurship are the driving force behind the development of modern economic society and have become one of the important engines of economic growth.The role of entrepreneurial activities in sustainable economic development has attracted the attention of governments all over the world.In China,innovation and entrepreneurship have become an important driving force for economic development and become a national strategy.Deepening the innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in Colleges and universities is an urgent need for the country to implement the innovation driven development strategy and promote the upgrading of economic quality and efficiency.It is also an important measure to promote the comprehensive reform of higher education and promote higher-quality entrepreneurship and employment of college graduates.Under the background of “Widespread Entrepreneurship and Innovation”,the innovation and entrepreneurship activities of college students are of great benefit to the cultivation of emerging industries,the development of regional economy and economic transformation and upgrading.However,at present,the overall entrepreneurship rate of college students in China is low,but the survival rate of entrepreneurship is not high.There are still many factors that restrict the development potential of this start-up group.Innovation and entrepreneurship education has become an important tool to promote the comprehensive reform of higher education,which is of great practical significance to enhance the entrepreneurial intention of college students,promote economic progress and social employment.Entrepreneurial intention,which has become the focus of entrepreneurial research all over the world,is the best entry point for studying entrepreneurial behavior.College students are one of the most innovative and entrepreneurial groups,and it is urgent to strengthen the research on college students' entrepreneurial intentions.China's research on entrepreneurial intention is still in its infancy.Although experts and scholars have done much research on the factors affecting entrepreneurial intention,there are still some problems.For example,the concept and connotation of innovation and entrepreneurship education need to be more precisely defined,the impact mechanism of innovation and entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions needs to be further explored,the role mechanism of entrepreneurship in the formation of entrepreneurial intentions needs to be further studied,and so on.This article,which based on the theory of planned behavior,self-efficacy,and entrepreneurship,tests the mechanism and path of the impact of innovation and entrepreneurship education on college students' entrepreneurial intention and discuss the relevant conclusion.With a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research,3,341 valid questionnaires from 228 universities across the country,latent variable path analysis,multiple mediating effects and interaction test,etc.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:First,the study examines the main factors affecting college students' entrepreneurial intentions in the Chinese context.The study analyzed the main factors and differences in undergraduates' entrepreneurial intentions in the Chinese context through data analysis.This study found that boys' entrepreneurial intentions were significantly higher than those of girls;college students' entrepreneurial intentions did not differ significantly at the school level.From the sample mean,students from “double first-class” colleges had a slightly lower entrepreneurial intention than other colleges.From the perspective of professional classification,science and engineering college students are still the highest part of this group's entrepreneurial intention.In terms of grades,the undergraduates' entrepreneurial intentions are significantly higher than those of lower grade students,but graduate students' entrepreneurial intentions are significantly lower than ordinary undergraduates.Undergraduates who have experienced entrepreneurship are higher than those who do not have entrepreneurial experience;students from self-employed families have significantly higher entrepreneurial intentions due to the influence of their parents' career background.Second,this study empirically tests the direct effect of innovative entrepreneurship education on college students' entrepreneurial intentions.The study found innovation and entrepreneurship education has a significant positive impact on college students' entrepreneurial intentions,and that innovation and entrepreneurship education can significantly promote college students' entrepreneurial intentions.Further,this study verified that entrepreneurial experience has a positive regulating effect between innovative entrepreneurship education and college students' entrepreneurial intentions;family self-employment background has a negative regulating role between innovative entrepreneurship education and college students' entrepreneurial intentions;gender has a role in the relationship between innovative entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intentions.There was no significant moderating effect among college students' entrepreneurial intentions.Thirdly,based on the theory of planned behavior,social cognition theory and self-efficacy theory,this study builds a multi-media effect relationship model of innovation and entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention,and tests the mediation effect using bootstrap method.Research results show that: entrepreneurship education has a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial attitudes,subjective norms,perceived behavior control,and entrepreneurial self-efficacy;entrepreneurial attitudes,subjective norms,perceived behavioral control,and entrepreneurial self-efficacy are positively related to entrepreneurial intention;entrepreneurship Attitude,subjective norms,perceived behavioral control,and entrepreneurial self-efficacy played a part of the mediating role in the impact of innovative entrepreneurship education on college students' entrepreneurial intentions.Further research found that the multiple parallel mediation pathways of the impact of innovation and entrepreneurship education on college students' entrepreneurial intentions have significantly improved the mediation effects of previous single pathways(TPB,self-efficacy).Fourth,this research builds an interactive model of the mechanism of innovation and entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial intentions,verifies the interaction effects between the two and further explores the mechanism and impact of interaction effects.The research results show that there is a positive interaction effect between entrepreneurship and innovation and entrepreneurship education on university students' entrepreneurial intention.When the resources for innovation and entrepreneurship education are weak,a strong entrepreneurial spirit will make up for the lack of innovation and entrepreneurship education;at the same time,when the entrepreneurship is weak,the better innovation and entrepreneurship education will make up for it to a certain extent The lack of entrepreneurship.Therefore,the research also confirms the mutually reinforcing role of innovation and entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship in influencing entrepreneurial intentions.This research can help us understand the influencing factors of college students' entrepreneurial intentions and the process mechanism of improving college students' entrepreneurial intentions through innovative entrepreneurship education.At the same time,it has certain practical guiding significance for how to effectively carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education and cultivate college students' entrepreneurial spirit;it provides theoretical guidance and method reference for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform and exploring innovation and entrepreneurship education models.Compared with the existing research,the possible contributions of this research are as follows: first,the research builds a new theoretical model of the mechanism of the effect of innovative entrepreneurship education on college students' entrepreneurial intentions,which breaks away from the limitations of a single model in entrepreneurship research and promotes the development of the field of entrepreneurship research;secondly,it studies the mechanism of direct impact of innovation and entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention and various possible influence mechanisms,including the direct effect path effect and the regulation effect mechanism path effect;thirdly,the study explores the impact of innovation and entrepreneurship education on college students' entrepreneurial intention,and the intermediary mechanism and the theoretical system of the mediation effect test procedure were constructed.Fourth,the research introduces the concept of entrepreneurship,attempts to use the entrepreneurial theory to open the "black box" of the impact of innovation and entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions,opens a new perspective for research on entrepreneurial intentions,improves the theoretical framework of entrepreneurship,and expands the field of entrepreneurial intentions,and lays a theoretical foundation for future research in the field of entrepreneurial intentions.
