General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the strategy of Rural Revitalization for the first time in the nineteen major reports of the party.The key to the revitalization of rural education lies in the revitalization of rural education,and the key to the revitalization of rural education lies in rural teachers.The level of rural teachers’ professional development directly determines the level of rural teachers’ assistance for Rural Revitalization.It is of great significance to pay attention to the investigation of the current situation of rural teachers’ professional development in the context of rural revitalization,and put forward suggestions and Countermeasures in a targeted way,whether it is to promote the level of rural teachers’ professional development,or to improve the quality of rural education and teaching,and further help the Rural Revitalization.In recent years,with the implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy and the improvement of rural education environment,the professional development of rural teachers is worth further study.On the basis of literature analysis,through questionnaire survey and interview,310 rural teachers in Chongyi County of Jiangxi Province are randomly selected as the survey objects.From the six dimensions of professional concept,professional sentiment,professional knowledge,professional skills,understanding of rural revitalization,and factors affecting the level of professional development,the current situation of rural teachers’ professional development level in the context of Rural Revitalization is understood.Generally speaking,the professional development of rural teachers in Chongyi county is in the upper middle level,The professional idea level of rural teachers is the highest,the professional sentiment level is the second,the professional knowledge level is the third,the understanding of the rural revitalization strategy is the fourth,and the professional skill level is the fifth.The problems existing in the professional development of rural teachers in the context of rural revitalization are as follows:(1)the lack of knowledge of rural culture;(2)the ignorance of most teachers about the background,objectives,tasks,general requirements and significance of rural revitalization;(3)rural teachers lack the ability to develop local curriculum resources and edit local teaching materials.Under the background of rural revitalization,the professional development level of rural teachers is the result of the comprehensive effect of internal and external factors.The internal factor is that the rural teachers are inattentive and unable to rejuvenate the countryside.The external factors are as follows:(1)the survival state of rural teachers is bad;(2)the professional training mechanism of teachers is not perfect;(3)the education department in charge and the school education idea is conservative;(4)the rural school education inherits the local culture power is insufficient.Based on the analysis of the current situation and influencing factors of rural teachers’ professional development,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures andsuggestions from the aspects of teachers themselves,rural schools,society and government.
