Abstract/Summary:
The Party in the new era has put forward the strategy of rural vitalization in which the vitalization of talents is the key factor.Rural revitalization ultimately depends on talents,and the cultivation of talents depends on education,so rural education should be placed in the strategic position of priority development.To revitalize rural education,rural teachers are the key of the key.The Plan for Strengthening Teachers in Basic Education in the New Era jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and eight other departments in 2022 emphasizes on improving teachers’ ability and quality,promoting the balance of high-quality teachers,strengthening the construction of teacher education system,and deepening the comprehensive reform of management,aiming to provide a powerful engine for the high-quality development of basic education in China.High-quality development of rural education is an important force for promoting rural revitalization,building a great modern socialist country,and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Therefore,based on the background of rural revitalization in the new era and the high-quality development of rural education,this study conducted an in-depth study on the connotation,structure,current situation and influencing factors of the adaptive professional development of rural teachers,so as to explore ways to promote the adaptive professional development of rural teachers.This study adopts the literature method and the survey method,taking the rural teachers in Linxia,Gansu Province as the survey object,and mainly carries out the research from three aspects: to understand the current level of the adaptive professional development of rural teachers;Analyze the influencing factors of rural teachers’ adaptive professional development;To explore effective strategies to promote the adaptive professional development of rural teachers.The results of the questionnaire survey show that the adaptive professional development level of rural teachers is generally above the medium level and has insufficient development in some aspects,mainly including rural feelings,general knowledge,local culture knowledge,professional reflection and development,life transformation ability,promoting industry prosperity ability,building civilized village style ability,helping livable and working ability,and assisting rural governance ability.The scores of factors influencing the adaptive professional development of rural teachers were slightly higher than the theoretical median,and the factors influencing the adaptive professional development of rural teachers themselves were the biggest hindrance to the adaptive professional development of teachers,including teacher development awareness,occupational pressure and career satisfaction.The second is the social influence factors,including policy guidance,financial security,learning platform,family support,parents recognition;Finally,the factors affecting rural schools include school system,school atmosphere,school equipment,school teaching and research.Based on the investigation of the current situation and influencing factors of the adaptive professional development of rural teachers in Linxia,Gansu Province,this study believes that the adaptive professional development of rural teachers should be promoted from three paths: society,rural schools and rural teachers.First,at the social level: building a rural community with a shared future;Ensuring the livelihood of rural teachers;Reform the rural teacher training system;We will ease communication barriers between rural families and schools.Second,at the level of rural schools: pay attention to rural school-based teaching and research;Improving school management and evaluation system;Lighten the burden on rural teachers.Third,the level of rural teachers: cultivating rural feelings;Strengthen local and general knowledge;Enhance the ability to reflect and develop.
