The level of basic education in rural areas has a profound and significant impact on the overall quality and development of the country.The overall quality of China’s rural education development is determined by the quality of rural teachers’ professional development.In today’s education and teaching reform,our important task now is to promote the professional development of teachers in rural middle schools,especially the professional development of young teachers,which is vital to maintaining the sustainable development of rural middle school education.The method of improving and enhancing the professional development strategy of rural junior high school teachers puts forward higher requirements for the majority of frontline teachers both in practice and in theory.This research is based on the basic theories of the professional development of young teachers in rural middle schools,taking the survey and research on the professional development of young teachers in Jiaozhou A Middle School as an example,using literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to conduct research.It mainly conducts investigation and research from the three aspects of teachers’ professional philosophy,professional ability,and professional knowledge.At the same time,it analyzes the problems of their professional development in combination with external conditions.It is found that young teachers in rural areas have the following problems: teachers’ professional theories are not strong,their professional skills need to be improved,and their professional concepts are not advanced.The author further analyzes the reasons from the three aspects of the country,schools,and individual teachers.The reason at the national level is that the gap between urban and rural teachers is too large,and the exchange system of urban and rural teachers needs to be improved;the national financial investment in rural basic education is unreasonable;the performance wage policy The implementation is not in place,and the salary of rural teachers is low.At the school level,it is mainly because school administrators lack attention to the professional development of young teachers,and the school lacks a system and atmosphere to promote teacher team building.The personal reasons for teachers are the lack of awareness of lifelong learning and reflection,the negative impact of family life,and the lack of support from family members.Based on the above research,the author proposes strategies to improve the professional development of rural young teachers from three levels,namely: the national level should establish and improve the exchange system of urban and rural teachers,and continuously improve the performance-based salary system.At the school level,it is necessary to strengthen the attention of managers and set up a special reward system for young teachers;establish learning alliances at all levels to improve teamwork ability;enrich training forms and content,and improve training effectiveness.At the personal level,teachers must first establish a sense of self-development and enhance self-worth;insist on summarizing and reflecting,and be good at displaying and communicating;firm young teachers’ lifelong learning philosophy,stimulate learning enthusiasm;give understanding and support,and create a warm family atmosphere.
