At present,the aging degree of our country is constantly deepening.In order to relieve the pressure of old-age care effectively,residential old-age care is gradually accepted by different groups.The institute to care for the elderly people’s daily life,reduces the unsafe factors and staff have certain professional advantages,but various rules of nursing and service,in turn,will weaken the power of the old man’s own consciousness,the old man could produce sense of powerlessness,incompetence.In order to improve the old man’s negative psychological state and therefore exhibit behavior of inferiority,trying to build elderly volunteer team in a nursing home,both to cater to the idea of " do something in the old age",at the same time also strengthen the connection of the elderly and the social support network.More important is to help the elderly to reduce their own helpless and help the elderly gradually realize the joy of old age and their own value.Considering the characteristics of the volunteer team,based on empowerment perspective,mainly in the form of senior volunteer team,combined with the concept of empowerment "power" in the "remove the power" and "no right",and "excitation power" concept,in the welfare home,through the early publicity to recruit volunteers.In the process,team members through the social workers to carry out the game of ice strengthening connection between members,identify themselves advantages,gradually learning volunteer work related knowledge and skills,and with the help of social workers through multiple services to members of all kinds of volunteer skills strengthened,to achieve their own growth and help others.This paper will also use the interview method and observation method to obtain the changes of members’ state before and after volunteer service,so as to comprehensively analyze the achievements and deficiencies in the cultivation process of elderly volunteers.At the end of the practical work,through the use of post-test methods such as scale and interview,the members first of all have a more positive understanding of themselves at the individual level.On the interpersonal level,on the one hand,the members form a new social support network--the elderly volunteer team.On the other hand,they broaden their daily social circle when providing services to others in the institute,and strengthen the connection between the volunteer team and the hospital through continuous communication and emotional collision.At the level of social organization,the volunteer team is also recognized by the form of public badge awarded by the administrator of the institute,and can exercise relevant rights in the institute as a volunteer.The deficiencies or difficulties of the cultivation project are also reflected in the weakened sense of self-power of some members at the individual level.On the interpersonal level,members are always difficult to break through,and the interpersonal circle is more narrow.At the level of social organization,managers have not been consistent in their attitude while "approving",which will also affect the effect of elderly volunteers.Therefore,in the process of cultivating elderly volunteers from the perspective of empowerment,several aspects should be paid attention to: Firstly,personalitycharacteristics,strength of will,and distribution in the house should be integrated in the selection of members;Secondly,the cultivation content should accord with the characteristics of project members and other elderly people in the hospital.Third,attention should be paid to the reasonable allocation of time;Finally,the incentive policies should be implemented.All of these will contribute to a better breeding effect. |
