A Study On The Improvement Of Service Ability Of Community Elderly Volunteers With Group Work

With the development of reform and opening-up,China’s economy and society have undergone earth-shaking changes,people’s living standards have been improving day by day,the number of the elderly population has been increasing,and the aging process has accelerated,bringing about a series of social problems,how to effectively solve the social pressure brought by the aging,turn the “Pressure” brought by the population ageing into the driving force of social development,and promote the cause of the elderly to further develop,has become a difficult problem in front of us,voluntary Service for the elderly has become a realistic choice to solve the problem of aging.Subsequently,voluntary service organizations for the elderly have developed rapidly,and the elderly with a lot of free time have gradually become the main force to participate in community governance,however,most of the volunteer service organizations for the elderly have various problems,which consume the enthusiasm of the elderly to participate and seriously restrict the development of the elderly volunteer service,it is a long-term project to make good use of the power of the aged to help social governance.Based on this study,the author takes the B community neighborhood help volunteer team in Jining as the research object,and uses the group work to actively explore the development model suitable for the elderly volunteer service organization,so as to help the elderly better participate in the community voluntary service.From the perspective of superiority,it helps the elderly volunteers to learn the knowledge of voluntary service,improve their service skills,realize the value of the elderly through community voluntary service activities,and create conditions for them to return to society.Through the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and Literature Review,the author first reviews the relevant studies at home and abroad,systematically combs the relevant literature on Elderly Voluntary Service,and secondly,adopts the method of combining theory with practice,through the analysis of the Development Status Quo and the difficulties faced by the neighborhood help volunteer service team in community B,it is found that the neighborhood help service team has played an active role in community governance,community construction and community development,but there are also problems such as lack of standardization,low level of professional service,imperfect organizational system and low team cohesion,the group work helps the elderly volunteers to explore the effective way to enhance their professional service ability.At present,there is no long-term mechanism for social work to participate in the capacity building of the elderly volunteers,it is expected that the practical intervention of this paper can help to improve the service ability of the elderly volunteers,and at the same time,it can bring some enlightenment to the development of the elderly volunteer service.
