Research On Group Work Intervention To Improve The Service Ability Of Elderly Volunteers In C Community

Under the current background of deep aging,how to realize active aging,how to enrich the life of the elderly to the greatest extent,so that the elderly have fun and have something to do,and increase the happiness of their later life,is a hot topic in today's society.As one of the ways to cope with active aging,elderly people's participation in volunteer service is helpful for them to exercise and maintain a positive and optimistic attitude.This not only can alleviate the pressure of the aging process of the society,reduce the pension burden of middle-aged and young,for the society to lambe,and can enrich the spiritual world of the elderly,increase social recognition of the elderly,help the elderly get sense of fulfillment and satisfaction,this provides feasibility for the elderly to participate in volunteer service.However,with the continuous expansion of service scope,the problem of insufficient service capacity also restricts the development of elderly volunteer service.By means of participatory observation,in-depth interview and questionnaire,the author studied the service status of elderly volunteers in C community of T city assisted by professional social work agencies,and found that there were uneven resource allocation and uneven service effects.In terms of communication ability,coordination ability and professional service skills,there is a lack of service ability.Through the offline community registration,a total of eight team members were recruited,and the service ability of them was evaluated in the early stage.After understanding the needs of the elderly volunteers,the team work plan was formulated.Five groups after the intervention,to evaluate the level of service ability for team member,in the process of evaluation and assessment of the results before and after the contrast found that team members to participate in group activities,after the communication,coordination,professional service skills have been enhanced,the service capacity to get a degree of solution.The effective improvement of communication ability,coordination ability and professional skills helps C community to enhance the overall service ability of elderly volunteers and better resolve the dilemma of uneven service resource allocation and uneven service effect of elderly volunteers in C community.This paper not only provides practical cases for group work to improve the service ability of elderly volunteers,but also suggests the need to enhance the integration and application of professional social work methods,establish an effective incentive mechanism and long-term group mutual assistance mode.With the continuous improvement of service ability and the synchronous establishment of service mechanism,it will lay a solid foundation for the long-term,stable and high-level development of elderly volunteer service.
