| In the context of an aging population,the group of elderly people with disabilities in China is becoming larger and larger,and accompanied by many aging problems,which seriously affects their quality of life.At the same time,the trend of family miniaturization is increasingly unable to meet the care needs of disabled elderly people,and community care has not yet taken shape.Institutional pensions are slowly being accepted by the public.However,due to physical constraints,the low self-care ability of disabled elderly people has led to serious self-efficacy problems in institutional care,which is not conducive to improving their quality of life.Therefore,professional service intervention is urgently needed.This research is based on the author’s practical work on social work internships in C Welfare Institute of Wuhan City,through objectively and realistically presenting the self-efficacy status of disabled elderly people in welfare institutions,clarifying the influencing factors of self-efficacy and providing reality through feasibility analysis Basis and support.Under the guidance of the empowerment perspective,the author uses the method of group work to provide specific intervention content for the disabled elderly from the individual level,interpersonal level and welfare institution level according to the influencing factors of self-efficacy.In the service process,the author fully respects the differences in the physical conditions of each team member and strives to tap their potential to achieve the purpose of social workers’ "helping others to help themselves".To test the process of serving the team,the author also conducted a process assessment of the group’s activities in order to be able to make timely adjustments to changes.In the result evaluation,the author used the general self-efficacy scale to measure and evaluate the self-efficacy improvement element.The evaluation results show that the self-efficacy of the disabled elderly has been improved to varying degrees under the influence of different levels of influencing factors,but the improvement of individual disabled elderly is not obvious.Therefore,the author concludes that,from the perspective of empowerment,it can effectively improve the self-efficacy of disabled elderly people in welfare institutions.In addition,it is also necessary to recognize the importance of support from nursing workers and welfare institutions in improving the self-efficacy of disabled elderly people. |
