Ancient poetry is an important part of China’s traditional culture,with concise language,rich emotions,and the beauty of sound and rhyme.The values contained in it also have practical significance,which is a brilliant cultural treasure of China.Junior high school is the most important stage to train students to learn ancient poetry.Students’ body and mind are in the development stage and their plasticity is very high.However,compared with modern culture,the teaching of ancient Chinese poems is always the most weak link of Chinese teaching,especially in the rapid development of network era background,the poems by modern culture,movies,games and other entertainment and the impact of foreign culture,the development of junior high school of curiosity attracted by new media,a variety of factors led to the students in learning interest in ancient Chinese poems is not high.Based on this social phenomenon,the combination of ancient poetry teaching and new media has also become a hot topic in current teaching.As teachers,they should view the positive role of new media in teaching from an objective and developmental perspective.Based on the current situation of the use of new media in ancient poetry teaching in junior high school,this paper analyzes the characteristics of new media,the characteristics of ancient poetry teaching,and the problems existing in the application of new media in ancient poetry teaching in junior high school,and gives feasible countermeasures and matters needing attention.In addition to the introduction,other main content of the discussion is divided into the following four parts:The first part systematically expounds new media,defines the concept of new media,enumerates the main forms of new media used in teaching,and analyzes the characteristics of new media in communication.Secondly,according to the characteristics of ancient poetry and its teaching,combined with the above analysis,discusses the advantages of new media in ancient poetry teaching.The second part of the application of new media in the teaching of ancient poetry to understand the status quo,several middle school students and teachers were issued questionnaires,the final results of the survey analysis and put forward questions.The third part,based on the active function of newmedia for teaching ancient Chinese poems,combined with the result of investigation the status quo analysis,puts forward the countermeasures of the new media application in the teaching of ancient Chinese poems,teachers should adapt to the current situation,change the old teaching ideas,correct understanding of the role of new media is applied to teaching,help students to make full use of new media resources,surrounding the preparation before class,learning in class and after class to review three dimensions,specific measures are presented.In order to improve teaching efficiency,teachers themselves should improve their ability to use a variety of new media.Finally,the society,schools and families should make joint efforts to supervise and guide students to properly control the use of new media after class,so as to create a healthy and safe new media environment for junior high school students.
