Research On The Management Policy Of Migrants’ Social Integration In Shanghai

The effective integration of the migrants in the city is the basement of the real urbanization in China.International economic,financial,trading,shipping center construction is the most important goal to achieve for Shanghai in the future.Shanghai as an important moving city in China because attracting the floating population move in.Meanwhile Shanghai has the high speed and sustained growth of the migrant population.However Minhang district is the main import area and its migrant population is more than the local resident.So by the development process of urbanization,the migratnts play an increasingly important role in the city,and the social integration of the migrants has the big impact on the economic and social development of Shanghai.We lack systematic study for the migrant’s social integration.The thesis applies the integration and multicultural theory,also basis of “push-pull” theory,and puts the social media data into the study which takes Minhang district as the main area and takes the migrant population who have stayed for more than half year as the target study group.It combines the social integration theory and migrant population living status,also from the different aspects such as living status,working situation,economic level,the public service and the social life to analyze the survival status of the migrant population in the city,and design social integration system through the dimensions of social integration.So we measure the degree of social integration in Shanghai,through statistical analysis software design regression analysis model.Finally analyze the main factors that affect the social integration of Shanghai and existing problems.For example,the social integration of Shanghai is relatively weak and the level is not very high.The overall presents a certain degree of population difference and the majority of the migrant population’s economic integration is not high.The economic integration level of the majority of the population is still to be improved.The proportion of residential satisfaction is not high,and the difference is obvious.The social intercourse circle is narrow,and the fusion degree of social relations needs to be improved.The psychological adaption and the integration level are low.Considering this situation,firstly perfect service system of the migrant population,follow the differences on the integration,and must take a gradual policy of integration.Secondly we must control population rationally,perfect the policy of population management,also ensure the policy’s fairness and supervision,want to protect the interests of the migrant population.Thirdly,we must rely on community networks and social resources,and promote the process of migrants’ integration in the community,also improve consciousness of shanghai citizen.
