Study On Employment Issues Of Landless Peasants Under Perspective Of Sustainable Livelihoods

Solving the problem of landless peasants’ employment is an important action related to people’s livelihood,and employment is also the only path reconstruction of landless peasants’ sustainable livelihoods.However,with the number of landless peasants is increasing day by day,due to the lack of land-lost farmers employment skills,low education level,weak social connections,etc.,they did not achieve sustainable livelihoods in the field of employment,which failed to solve the problem and ensure their long-term survival and development.Therefore,it is of profound and urgent significance for landless peasants to construct the landless peasants’ sustainable livelihoods employment policy system and maintain long-term survival.First of all,this thesis takes Nanjing’ completely landless’ s A residential district as the main research object,through the land-lost farmers livelihood capital ownership(human capital,financial capital,social capital and physical capital and natural capital),employment intention and social environment as the main starting point,researching on factors that affect the landless peasants’ employment.Then,On the basis of analyzing the landless peasants’ employment dilemma and reasons in China,this thesis combines with the theory of sustainable livelihoods,human capital theory,the theory of strong and weak relationship,etc..And then,this thesis conducted a questionnaire survey and personal interviews about the livelihood and the employment in the completely landless’ s A residential district to understand employment situation,employment aspirations and living standards and to analysis whether the aim of landless peasants’ sustainable livelihood can be reached or not with national compensation payments and social security measures,and whether landless peasants can effectively maintain their basic life and improve the quality of life or not under the situation of landless peasants’ employment.Finally,through comprehensive empirical investigation and data analysis,and combining with the specific situation of the research area,we will explore to construct sustainable livelihoods of landless peasants’ employment system,and put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.Therefore,this thesis proposes to solve the landless peasants’ employment problems by strengthening of government support,social assistance and their ability,which is based on building sustainable livelihoods,so that we will achieve the goal of long-term survival and development.In order to promote the landless peasants’ employment and realize the integration of urban and rural development,the state should provide a comprehensive and perfect legal system of security,resource supply support,and the enterprise should be free from discrimination and prejudice and provide job support autonomously,and then the community should improve the vocational skills training institutions and give the resources and psychological support.Ultimately,landless peasants should strengthen their own livelihood capital support,especially employment skills,to build sustainable livelihoods employment policy system.Working together to build sustainable livelihoods for the perfect path to employment promotion policy and to solve the landless peasants’ employment and livelihoods problems under the perspective of sustainable livelihoods.
