Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Embedded Elderly Service In Urban Communities

In recent years,the proportion of the elderly population in our country has been increasing,and the aging process has accelerated.The situation facing some large and medium-sized cities has become more urgent.How to actively respond to the aging problem has now risen to the national strategic level.With the development of society and the improvement of people’s living standards,the gradual weakening of family care functions and the inadequate care of institutions have become increasingly prominent.The discovery of new forms of pension plans has become one of the most important social issues in our new era.In order to further meet the diverse and individual needs of the elderly,the Chinese government and academic circles have carried out active explorations,and gradually formed some new rich and diversified elderly service methods.Among them,the urban community embedded elderly care service greatly integrates the advantages of institutional elderly care,community elderly care,and home elderly care services.It has its own special advantages in terms of geography,emotional support,function,and sustainable development.It is in line with our country’s national conditions and the concept of the people’s elderly care and a new type of elderly care service method in urban community development planning,and the systematic and in-depth study of embedded elderly care services in urban communities has important theoretical and practical significance for the development of elderly care services in our country.This article mainly uses literature analysis,case analysis and other methods to conduct research on embedded elderly care services in urban communities based on social embedded theory,Maslow’s demand theory,community care theory,and governance theory.Through the excavation and analysis of the experience of embedded elderly care services in some typical urban communities,this article believes that there are still many problems in the current development of embedded elderly care services in urban communities in our country,which are mainly manifested in the following five aspects: the lack of top-level design and macro planning;Institutional embedding suffers from the influence of neighboring and avoidance effects;the resources integration capabilities of all parties are insufficient and the lack of close linkage;operating institutions are difficult to balance income and expenditures,the "hematopoietic function" is in urgent need of improvement,and the relative shortage of professional talents.In view of the current problems of embedded elderly care services in urban communities in my country,this article believes that the embedded elderly care services in urban communities in our country can be improved from five aspects: strengthen the transformation of ideas,clarify government responsibilities;strengthen publicity and communication,improve the supervision mechanism;establish a division of labor and coordination mechanism,build a comprehensive information sharing platform;expand the scale of operations,give full play to the spillover effect,improve the talent training mechanism,and improve the treatment of elderly service personnel.
