Research On The Cultivation Of Craftsman Spirit Of Higher Vocational College Students In Xinjiang

In March 2016,the craftsman spirit was first mentioned in the government work report,emphasizing the need to strengthen the cultivation of the craftsman spirit of excellence Opinions on deepening the reform of education system and mechanism was issued in September 2017.In the document,it is mentioned that we should adhere to the employment orientation and strive to cultivate students’ craftsmanship spirit,professional ethics,professional skills and employment and entrepreneurship.This provides a new development orientation and direction for Higher Vocational Colleges in the new era,and clarifies the talent training objectives.In January 2019,the central government issued the notice on printing and distributing the implementation plan of national vocational education reform.In the notice,it emphasizes the importance of personnel training,promotes the establishment of vocational education personnel training system,and puts forward referential methods for further improving the quality of higher vocational talents.Under the background that social development is inseparable from craftsman spirit,the State advocates the cultivation of craftsman spirit,innovative development calls for craftsman spirit,and vocational education reform attaches importance to craftsman spirit,vigorously cultivating the craftsman spirit of higher vocational college students will contribute to the enrichment and development of craftsman spirit theory,broaden the teaching content of higher vocational colleges,and enhance the comprehensive quality of higher vocational college students.Therefore,the construction of modern vocational education system and the cultivation of higher vocational college students with craftsman spirit is not only the need of the current social and economic development,but also the historical task of Vocational Education in the new era.This paper expounds the connotation,cultivation stage,basic characteristics of craftsman spirit and the necessity of cultivation.Through the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and interview,we know that in the process of cultivating craftsman spirit in Xinjiang Higher Vocational Colleges,there are some problems,such as students’ professionalism needs to be improved,craftsman spirit needs to be integrated into the curriculum,the structure of teaching staff needs to be optimized,the depth of school enterprise cooperation needs to be strengthened,and craftsman spirit atmosphere needs to be enhanced.The main factors restricting the effectiveness of the cultivation are the weak learning consciousness of some students,the lack of systematic school education design,the low proportion of "double qualified" teachers,the difficulty in protecting the interests between schools and enterprises,and the lack of spiritual atmosphere of craftsmen on campus.Therefore,it is necessary to enhance students’ awareness of craftsmanship spirit,abandon utilitarian professional attitude,enhance professional ethics of integrity,consolidate weak practical ability,and establish lofty professional ideals.The spirit of craftsmen should be integrated into public courses,professional courses and practice courses,and school-based courses guided by the spirit of craftsmen should be developed.We should deepen the construction of teaching staff in Higher Vocational Colleges in Xinjiang,pay attention to the study of teachers’ craftsman spirit,carry out off campus training for teachers,employ off campus craftsman masters,and build a "double qualification" teaching team.We should strengthen the mechanism of school enterprise cooperation in Xinjiang Higher Vocational Colleges,attach importance to professional training,promote the integration of production and education,pay attention to post practice,and improve the modern apprenticeship system.We should strengthen the spirit atmosphere of craftsmen in campus culture,excavate excellent traditional culture,cultivate the spirit of craftsmen,carry out community activities with the theme of the spirit of craftsmen,rely on campus media to publicize typical craftsmen,and organize skill competitions with the theme of the spirit of craftsmen.Through these ways,we can improve the craftsman spirit of Xinjiang Vocational College Students,implement the requirements of national vocational education reform,and cultivate a large number of talents with craftsman spirit for the country.
