Research On The Influencing Factors Of The Use Of The Mobile Government Platform For The Elderly

With the rapid development of 5G,big data and other technical means,our lifestyle and living habits have undergone earth-shaking changes.As of December 2020,the number of netizens in my country is 989 million,among which the elderly(over 60 years old)account for 11.2%,which is approximately 111 million,and there are approximately 254 million people aged 60 and over in my country.The Internet has further penetrated into the elderly,and nearly half of the elderly are gradually exploring cyberspace through the Internet.With the popularization of the Internet,government services have shown the development of multiple platforms such as Weibo,WeChat,government APP,and WeChat applet.With the rapid development of e-government in our country,more than half of the elderly are still reduced to "digital refugees" without enjoying the dividends of the digital age.During the new crown pneumonia epidemic,there were occasional news about the inconvenience of elderly people because they would not use the "health code".How to enable the elderly to effectively integrate into the modern digital age and enjoy the convenience of digital life is a problem that needs to be solved by society and the government.This thesis focuses on the elderly,explores the factors affecting the willingness to use the mobile government platform for the elderly,and puts forward relevant suggestions for improving the level of government services and solving the digital divide.Based on the analysis and reference of previous studies and the construction of my country" mobile government platform,this thesis expands the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology and use that was often used in information system research by the predecessors,adding the two variables of perceived cost and perceived trust.Construct a research model suitable for the subject of this article.Data research on the use of the "Guangdong Province Affairs" mobile government service platform,a representative mobile government service platform,was conducted.Through empirical analysis,it was found that:there is a significant positive correlation between effort expectations,social influences,facilitating condition,perceived trust,and the willingness to use mobile government platforms for the elderly.There is a significant negative correlation between perceived cost and willingness to use,while performance expectations have not passed the hypothesis test.Based on the above analysis results,the research model of this article has been revised,and countermeasures and suggestions for the construction of mobile government platform and some thoughts on solving the problem of digital divide are put forward.This research selects the representative "Guangdong Province Affairs" mobile government service platform as the mobile government platform,and adds two variables of perceived cost and perceived trust based on the unified theoretical model of technology acceptance and use,and explores mobile government affairs for the elderly through empirical research The influencing factors of the willingness to use the platform provide suggestions for the ageing construction of the mobile government platform and provide a basis for solving the digital divide.
