Study On The Acceptance And Use Of Mobile Phones In The Aged Population Under The Transformation Of Suitable For Aging ——Based On The Field Investigation Of Shanghai Lujiazui Street Comprehensive Service Center For The Elderly

Since the implementation of the 14 th Five-Year Plan,China has promoted the active response to the aging of population to the national strategy level.The State Council issued the Implementation Plan on Effectively Solving the Difficulties of the Elderly in Using Smart Technology,which reflects the importance of the transformation of internet application for the aging,and promotes the social attention to bridge the digital divide again.In the era of the rapid development of the Internet,mobile phones as the representative of mobile media have become the most significant way for people to get information,communicate with others,show themselves and so on.Therefore,the acceptance and use of mobile phones in the elderly deserves special attention and consideration.In this paper,the subjects of the study are the elderly,who are in the context of age-appropriate rehabilitation.Based on the results of questionnaire survey,then combined with field investigation and in-depth interview.This paper sorts out and analyzes the status quo of the acceptance and use of mobile phones by the elderly from the four dimensions of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology（UTAUT）,including Performance Expectation,Effort Expectation,Social Influence and Facilitating Conditions.Then in view of actual needs and practical feasibility,sums up beneficial strategies and methods for the elderly group to accept and use mobile phones.Finally,the study is expected to reflect and test the process and effect of Internet application for aging transformation.Meanwhile,provides useful reference for China’s active aging.This paper will be specifically explained from six parts.The first part introduces the research background,research reasons,research problems,research status,research significance and research design of this topic.The second part selects UTAUT as the theoretical basis of this paper by sorting out the development process of TAM.And defines the concept as followed.In this study,UTAUT was introduced into the perspective of journalism and communication.The third part describes the natural and social environment of the Lujiazui Street Comprehensive Service Center for the elderly,the basic living conditions of the research objects,as well as the brief acceptance and use of mobile phones among the elderly groups,which provide a macro background for the subsequent analysis.In the fourth part,based on the field observation and in-depth interview records,this part discusses the specific status quo of the acceptance and use of mobile phones by the aged in the field,and analyzes its influencing factors.In the fifth part,based on the above research results,this part expounds the specific ways to promote the acceptance and use of mobile phones by the elderly from the perspective of the government and enterprises,and details the responsibility subjects and operation forms of the methods.In a vibrant digital society,mobile phones are only one of the representatives of Internet mobile media.With the continuous development of China’s big data society,the application scenarios of intelligent society are increasingly rich.When aging and digital society in China are superimposed,the digital ability of the elderly directly affects every aspect of their life.In the context of active aging in China,it is hoped that more and more age-appropriate programs will enter the life of the elderly and bridge the digital divide.The whole society should take action to let the elderly enjoy the digital convenience and enjoy a better life.
