Teaching materials are the basic materials for teachers’ teaching,which provide basic basis for them to fully prepare lessons,efficiently teach,effectively assign homework and set up diversified tasks.At the same time,the textbook is also a basic tool for students to learn,through their preview,review,finish homework and prepare for the exam.The newly revised HSK Test Syllabus in 2015 and the Newly released International Chinese Language Education Chinese Proficiency Level Standards in 2021 not only put forward new requirements for Chinese language teaching,but also become new indicators to examine the compilation of Chinese textbooks.In the face of the above situation,only on the basis of a full understanding and comprehensive grasp of the examination syllabus and standards,teachers can make corresponding changes in teaching methods,in order to better help students to achieve learning objectives.Based on the above reasons,this paper selects HSK Standard Textbook 3 and HSK Standard Textbook 4 as the research objects based on the relevant topics in HSK Test Syllabus(2015 edition)and International Chinese Language Education Standard Chinese Level Grading Standards.From the topic’s content,type,overall arrangement characteristics,characteristics and so on,it carries on a detailed investigation.At the same time,combined with the topic interest survey of learners using the textbook,the paper puts forward corresponding suggestions for the shortcomings of the textbook,so as to provide all-round reference suggestions for teachers and textbook writers from an objective perspective.The topic research of teaching materials is mainly carried out from two aspects.On the one hand,based on the examination syllabus and standards,the comparison relationship between intermediate level definition,topic content and verbal communication ability is investigated.On the other hand,the type,content,arrangement characteristics and characteristics of topics in the textbook are carefully sorted out to study whether they meet the basic requirements of textbook compilation.The topic interest survey of textbook users is mainly based on the topic interest theory to understand their preference for intermediate Chinese topics.Finally,based on the survey results and the topic selection of the three textbooks,corresponding suggestions are provided for the compilation and application of the topic of the textbooks.
