Survey And Study Of "HSK Standard Course4 Volume 1 / 2"

This article takes "HSK Standard Course 4 Volume 1 / Volume 2"(hereinafter referred to as "" HSK Standard Course 4 ")as the research object,and conducts a systematic investigation of textbook compilation from four aspects: vocabularies,language points,topics,and exercises.The article also reveals how close the textbook is to the HSK exam in the above aspects by comparing it with the HSK Exam Outline(hereinafter referred to as the "HSK Outline")and HSK Level 4 examination papers.The results show that the distribution of new words and super-level words in each lesson of "HSK Standard Course 4" is balanced.It also points out that the degree of correlation with the vocabulary of "HSK Outline" reaches 99.3%,while correspondence of new words in these lessons to real questions is 86.2%.Conversely,reappearance from exams highly frequent words in textbook goes as high as 77.6%.Moreover,language points in each lesson of the textbook appear to be reasonably distributed,so that coordination with the language points of the "HSK Outline" reaches 97%,their reproducibility rate in HSK level 4 real questions reaching 99%.The layout of such points follows the principle "from easy to difficult",and the text covers 10 first-level topics in the "HSK Outline".It is also seen that topic distribution is highly consistent between the textbook and HSK Level 4 examination papers.Furthermore,"HSK Standard Course 4" is equipped with a special exercise book,written with reference to HSK Level 4 Examination papers.The investigation found that some of the exercise book content used examination questions,students can master the requirements of the exam through exercise,hone their exam skills,and improve their confidence in the exam.Overall,the innovation,scientificity,and applicability of "HSK Standard Course 4" are worthy of full affirmation.As there are some drawbacks in the exercise book,this article also puts forward specific suggestions for improvement.
