Intonation of exclamatory sentences is one of the difficulties for foreign students to learn oral Chinese,and it is also a difficult problem in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper uses relevant phonetic software to extract and analyze the declarative sentences and exclamatory sentences of Uzbekistan international students and native Chinese speakers by means of experimental phonetics.Horizontally,it comparatively analyzes the tonal range,fluctuation,and fundamental frequency of stress of declarative sentences and exclamatory sentences.Vertically,it quantitatively compares the pitch,length and intensity of exclamatory sentences of foreign students and native Chinese speakers.This paper describes the acquisition condition of the intonation of Chinese exclamatory sentences of Uzbekistan international students with intermediate Chinese level to discuss the possible intonation errors of Chinese exclamatory sentences among Uzbekistan international students and seek the causes of these errors,in order to put forward targeted methods and suggestions to guide the learning and teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction.This chapter elaborates the source of the topic and defines the concept of intonation.The second part is the experimental design.This chapter defines the investigation items of the experiment,introduces the experimental corpus,the situation of the speakers,the experiment procedures,the extraction as well as processing methods of the experimental data.Meanwhile,it summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the experiment.The third part is the experimental analysis of exclamatory intonation of Chinese native speakers.In this chapter,according to the particularity of exclamatory sentences,they are divided into two groups: marked exclamatory sentences and unmarked exclamatory sentences.The analysis of experimental data is carried out to find the influence of grammatical markers on the exclamatory sentences.The fourth part is the experimental analysis of the acquisition errors of Uzbekistan international students’ Chinese exclamatory intonation and the quantitative analysis of Uzbekistan international students’ Chinese exclamatory intonation level.The fifth part is the teaching suggestions for Uzbekistan international students to acquire the intonation of Chinese exclamatory sentences.Based on the results of the intonation error experiment,this chapter proposes some teaching suggestions for TCSL teachers on intonation teaching.The sixth part is the conclusion.This chapter summarizes the errors in the intonation of Chinese exclamatory sentences by Uzbekistan international students in intermediate stage of this intonation experiment,and draws the conclusions of the experimental research.At the same time,it also points out the innovation and deficiency of this paper.
