| Comparatively, the research of the exclamatory sentences is not enough. Many problems need to be resolved at present. This paper tries to do some research about the exclamatory sentences in Contemporary Chinese.This thesis is mainly composed of five parts.The introduction generally narrates the history and actuality of the study on the exclamatory sentences of Chinese and makes some simple remarks. Then we point out the occurring problems and deficiency.Chapter 1 describes the sentence patterns of the exclamatory sentences of Contemporary Chinese: both the subject-predicate sentence and the non-subject-predicate sentence can express exclamation mood. In the non-subject-predicate sentences, the interjection, noun and adjective non-subject-predicate sentences express exclamation mood more frequently.Chapter 2 analyzes the functions of adverbs in the exclamatory sentences. Firstly, we discuss the selectivity of verbs and verb phrases about the exclamatory structure including "duo (me) " . Secondly, we point out the selectivity of nouns and noun phrases about the exclamatory structure including "hao (yi)+liang+NP". Lastly, we discuss the syntactical functions and semantic features of the exclamatory structures including "tai", "zhen"and "ke".Chapter 3 observes the actions of pronouns in the exclamatory structures. We discuss the syntactical structures and pragmatics features of the four kinds of the exclamatory structure : "zhe/na NP", "ni (zhe) ge NP", "zhe me/na me AP/VP" and "shen me NP". Then we point out the selectivity of every kind of words about these four exclamatory structures.Chapter 4 analyzes the syntactical functions and pragmatics features of the interjections of Contemporary Chinese .Then we generalize the selectivity of interjection about the exclamatory sentences. Finally, we discuss some special nouns or noun phrases commonly used as exclamations. |
