This thesis aims to study the exclamatory expressions in modern Chinese.It covers all aspects of modern Chinese exclamatory expressions based on the theory of functional linguistics,speech act theory,theory of linguistic typology and theory of contrastive linguistics.This thesis attempts a systematic study of the category of exclamatory expr essions by discussing the characteristics of syntax,semantics and speech act in modern Chinese exclamatory expressions.In order to unveil the functional ling uistics and its formational significance in Chinese expressions,its syntax,meani ng,and application are broadly covered.Furthermore,it conducted a comparati ve study of Korean and Chinese exclamatory expressions.The first chapter is an introduction,describes the origins of the research,the subjects and scope of the paper,the basics and methods of research theory.It includes the description of corpus sources and symbols.In addition,it looks into the current state of exclamation and research in China and abroad,clarifies the significance of the research,and addresses the innovation points and possible problems of this research.The second chapter mainly defines modern Chinese exclamatory sentence and exclamatory expression.The nature and function of exclamatory sentence are defined as exclamatory expression,and exclamation is classified according to the presence or absence of exclamatory expressions and describes the formal features of exclamatory expression.The third chapter mainly examines the semantic characteristics and pragmatic functions of exclamatory expression.In terms of pragmatic functions,the study of direct speech act exclamatory expressions,non-literal meaning exclamatory expressions,and indirect exclamation speech behavior exclamatory expressions are studies based on specific speech act theory.Semantic aspects are divided into research on exclamation points,exclamation content characteristics and its background of context.The fourth chapter mainly studies the mood components in the exclamation marks—mood words and mood adverbs.First,we will examine the definition of mood and the tone of sigh expression.After that,we investigate the definition of mood words,examples and functions of mood words in exclamatory expression.Then,we investigate the definition of the mood adverbs of the mood components and analyze the typical examples of exclamatory expressions such as“duo(me)(多么)”,“hao(好)”,“ke(可)”,“tai(太)”,“zhen(真)”,etc.examples of mood adverbs in exclamatory expressions.The fifth chapter mainly studies the non-mood interjections and interrogative words in exclamatory expressions.In the interjection aspect,interjections are divided into prototype interjections,quasi-interjections and emerging interjections,describing the semantic and pragmatic characteristics of interjections in interjection expressions;In the interrogative aspect,the meaning and function of the“shenme(什么)”form and the“zenme(怎么)”form is considered.The sixth chapter mainly studies the fixed phrases appearing in exclamatory expressions.Differentiating fixed phrases into grammaticalized and solidified expressions to remind the other person’s attention or unexpected discourse markers;using or not the word“de(得)”degree complement and“X+bude(不得)”,“bude(不得)+X”and other small categories examine semantic and pragmatic features.The seventh chapter mainly examines the fixed form of exclamatory expression in modern Chinese.The fixed format is divided into the form of exclamation:“ni(你)+zhege(这个)NP”;“doushi(都是)NP”;“zhe(这)/na(那)+jiao(叫)yige(一个)X”and“hao(好)+yige(一个)X”for research.The eighth chapter mainly examines the combination mode of Chinese exclamatory expression,which is divided into single sentence exclamatory expression and mark combination exclamatory expression.Regarding the exclamatory expression in the combination of markers,starting from the exclamatory expression in a single marker,two and three types and the linear distribution of the markers are used for analysis.The ninth chapter compares and analyzes the exclamatory expression in Chinese and Korean.Firstly,the Korean exclamatory expression is summarized.The definition of exclamatory expression in Korean,the semantic nature and pragmatic function of exclamatory expressions are explained.Then,Korean exclamatory expressions are examined by distinguishing between exclamatory expressions using typical marks and exclamatory expressions by using other sentence types.Finally,from the perspective of linguistic typology,the similarities and differences between Chinese and Korean sigh expressions are compared.The tenth chapter is the conclusion,including the main content of this diss ertation,the innovation spots and shortcomings. |
