| The importance of translation has become prominent since reform and open up.As an important part of human culture,the support of translation plays a significant role in medicine era.In skopos theory,translation is a purposeful activity of cultural transfer.In order to faithfully and accurately translate medical language,the translator should take cultural connotations of the source language and the way of thinking of the target readers into account.Based on the skopos theory,the author analyzes the characteristics of the medical language of Advanced Methodologies and Technologies in Medicine and Healthcare,and adopts appropriate translation principles and strategies according the theory.Based on the translation principle of "purpose and loyalty",the translation strategy includes: transliteration,literal translation,and comprehension translation,Interpretation simultaneously,reverse translation,zero translation,and integral translation.According to the characteristics of the medical language and differences between Chinese and Western culture,the author analyses various occasions of applying translation principles and strategies.The thesis provides references for translation principles and strategies of medical language of Advanced Methodologies and Technologies in Medicine and Healthcare,which will conducive to learn from foreign advanced concepts and technical experience and improve my country’s medicine quality. |
